I have hired Sinai Construction to replace a section of my foundation and to seismically retrofit the remaining foundation. Out of the three companies that I called they have done the most thorough inspection and presented me with a proposal where everything was broken down which allowed me to easily compare their scope of work and feel that I was getting the most for my money. On the first day of work Armando the crew leader together with Chon have discussed with me what to expect and checked where would they would be able to store their tools material etc. Their crew was extremely polite and professional throughout their time on my property. The only small hitch happened when one day coming from work I found out that I had no hot water. I had called Shawn the supervisor who within 30 minutes was at my house. He reset my auto gas shutoff which was triggered due to work done and relit my auto pilots inside the house. At the end of the job I requested and received photos of all work performed on my foundation which made feel really good. I would highly recommend them. more

These guys took forever to even get the project coordinated, and then they were expensive to boot. I found out I didn't need a fraction of what they said I needed. I fired them. I needed foundation repair work done at my house. Out of the three companies that I called, Sinai Construction was the only company that spent over an hour crawling and inspecting under the house and the perimeter, taking measurements and photos. Daniel?s thorough inspection covered not only the existing damage to my foundation but also the cause of it, which was bad drainage. They showed me the photos from under the house and took the time to explain how they are going to do the repairs. Their crew was very competent and polite. I could not be more pleased. more

Sinai recently performed major earthquake retrofit and foundation reconstruction on my older home. I choose Sinai because they impressed me as a well-staffed and professional company and because of their technical expertise and explanation of their solution. They finished the job on time, with no major problems. They were extremely responsive to my inquiries and met all of my expectations and requests. I want to thank everyone at Sinai for the great job you did at our house. I actually know a fair amount about construction and it was very gratifying to see your crews always making sure things were just perfect. They never failed to arrive early and stay late when necessary. I was very pleased to watch them using levels to make certain things were 'plumb and square', not complaining when some unexpected snag developed (in our case multiple old tree roots), and just going non-stop to get the project done right and on schedule. In all, Sinai's office staff and work crews provide professional, quality work at what I believe are reasonable prices. I'm not trying to write an advertisement for Sinai but just wanted you to know that my wife and I are very pleased and very happy with your crews and their work. more

We lived in our home in the hills for many years and knew we had a foundation problem to deal with- We kept putting it off, frightened by how much it might cost. The time finally came when we decided to tackle the issue. We called Sinai because we had seen their sign in our neighborhood many times, as well as hearing from happy neighbors, who were satisfied with the work. Sinai took pictures of the problem areas, and explained what the repairs would entail. Their expertise, knowledge, and experience gave us lots of confidence. They were just great, very reliable and so nice to work with, they took care of everything. And the cost for all the work that was done, was very reasonable. Gary Sinai was referred to us by our Real Estate Agent. We found a beautiful hillside home that we really, really wanted but it had significant foundation issues. Our agent said that Sinai Construction specializes in foundation work. They came right out and gave us an estimate the same day. Some of the work needed structural engineering and a soils analysis. Sinai took care of all of the engineering and was able to begin work in just a few weeks (after permit processing) at a very competitive price! They did the work steadily until it was finished and cleaned up as they went. We really appreciated that because the parking is really limited. Now we feel safe against earthquakes in our new home. We were very pleased with this construction company and will definitely recommend them to anyone interested in foundation work. Pros: Gets the job done fast. Customer friendly and professional.
