Ever seen the episode of Seinfeld about soup nazi? This is what my lunch at Shanghai Mama's reminded me of... the host (who may be the owner, I am not sure) lined us all up, handed the menus and ordered us to pick our selections quickly. We then had to proceed to the cashier and prompty pay for our orders. After that, we were seated one by one at a table carefully set for 6. The food was very good and all came out at the same time. Once the dishes were collected, the host came over and thanked us indicating politely that we should now leave. Wow! Good food, but somewhat stressful. I would good back for some good chinese though.
