Dana Point Location -Loyal customer NO MORE! I have been a client of Rolf's for over 6 years and had the worst experience ever today! My appointment was a quarter after the hour and admittedly I was 15 minutes late for my appt. due to traffic but was SHOCKED to hear from the my stylist Randi/Christina that she would not be able to highlight and cut my hair due to my tardiness - I could have one or the other but not both. Now I admit I was exactly 15 minutes late but serioulsy? She couldn't do both? How many times have I had to wait for my stylist because they were running late with another client or shown up for appointments and the stylist or make-up person hadn't shown up due to illness or some other calamity? In 6 years I can tell you plenty of times! I have been loyal to Rolf's, to their Brand and to their products - NO MORE! NO MORE REFERRALS, NO MORE GLOWING RECOMMEDATIONS, NO MORE POSITIVE WORD OF MOUTH - NO MORE OF MY MONEY AT $200 A VISIT - customer loyalty means nothing to them - and to Randi/Christina my EX stylist who's parting words were OH WELL - I say OH WELL someone else will be thrilled to take my money! more

I just had my first visit to Rolf's Salon in Glendale and my stylist was Suzanne. I came to her after going to several other ""top rated"" salons in Phoenix and was very apprehensive due to the very poor style and cuts I had gotten at the other salons. I showed Suzanne a photo of what I would like done and she listened to everything I had to say about what I like and do not like. Suzanne gave me one of the best cuts I have ever had...she was so professional and I would highly recommend her. Thanks, Suzanne! more

I normally don't comment on sites like this, but I just had to when I saw the negative review for Brandy. She's been doing my hair for years and I am always amazed. It looks fantastic every time I walk out the door, and she does it all in 30 minutes, which is really amazing. I know some women like the whole experience, but I just don't have much extra time, so I appreciate the expediency. She is VERY nice and has never been even remotely condescending or rude. My 5-year-old cut her own hair and just butchered it over a year ago and now I take her to Brandy too because it needed a serious professional while it was growing out. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because of price, and I know that's probably out of Brandy's control. I just look at it as paying for her doing such a great job in such little time. I actually suspect that the negative poster is a troll or competitor; I just can't imagine Brandy being rude in any capacity. more

I would recommend my stylist Brandy to anyone and I have! I have had services (color, highlights and blow dry ) many times over the past few years and I always feel great when I leave, I don't need to go home and redo it, she is the best! Really, I am not just saying it. I do get asked who does my hair? Funny thing is I found Brandy quite a few years back when I admired a friend's friend's hair. I am so glad I followed through with that inquiry because I have been so happy ever since. I never wonder or worry about the outcome of services I receive with Brandy. Sometimes I bring in a photo or many times we just discuss and she creates a better me always. Honestly I struggled like so many of us girls for years, I bounced around to different salons but this relationship has been good from the get go. If you are reading this please do give her a chance she is definitely one of the very best in her field. Try her, she is very, very good. Pros: I always look ready for a photo shoot when done! Cons: a little on the pricey side but worth it! more

I just wanted to let you know a little about Rolf's. For one, the stylists all have to sign contracts with Rolf's stating that should anything ever happen to their employment, the clients are not allowed to find out where the stylist went to continue getting their hair done by that individual. should the stylist exchange personal information with any client and/or should any client search out that particular stylist Rolf's is filing lawsuits for 10s of thousands of dollars. i don't know about you but when people go get services like this done they enjoy building a personal relationship with the person that is making them look and feel good. the stylists are also required to attend meetings that last 5 to 8 hours on average every couple weeks without any money or food. no gas money. did i mention these meetings are also about 30 to 40 miles away for some stylists. Rolf's also takes 70% of the price of the service. this leaves the stylists with 30% of the cost of the service plus the tip. but how much is someone going to want to tip if the price is already outrageous. Rolf's intimidates they're employees into feeling trapped there. the owner of the company tells the stylists when they don't look good, smell good and to go put more make up on because they don't have enough on. any company that is that disrespectful to the people that make up the backbone of that company doesn't deserve my hard earned money. Pros: very friendly staff Cons: pricey! $30 mens cut?? ouch! thats if stylist is level 1! more

Just wanted to take the time to let people know what a great experience I have evey time I visit Rolf's. I have been a client for many years, first visiting the old location on 24th street and now 67th ave for the past 5+years. My stylist is Brandy and she is amazing. She is always so professional and does amazing things with my hair. I have referred so many of my friends and family to her over the years. If you are looking for a change and a wonderful and talented stylist be sure to give Rolf's a try. I would not go anywhere else. Pros: Brandy more

The first person to tell me about Rolf's was my mom. It was the best advice! She had a great hairstylist named Brandy. So when I called for an appointment I asked for her. It was perfect! I have a lot of hair so it is very hard to manage. My hair was always very frizzy and big, and I didn't like how it looked. But when I went to see Brandy she made my hair look beautiful! Instead of knotty and frizzy, my hair was curly and smooth. She told me exactly how to keep my hair in order and recommended different shampoos and gels for me to try.\r When I wanted to cut my hair short for the summer, the only stylist I would trust to cut my hair would be Brandy! Now, it's even easier to manage and it still looks good! Now I get many compliments on how pretty my hair is and I feel great about it too! Thanks Brandy! \r Now, I will alwys go to Rolf's because it is the only place I can trust with my hair! Pros: Lovely Atmosphere, great service, and talented stylists! more

This review is for Brandy at Rolf's Salon in Arrowhead (Glendale). She destroyed my hair and is a horrible hairstylist/colorist. This person is obviously in the wrong profession, as she appears to have no common sense or skill (or even concern) when it comes to color or cuts.. She is impatient and ill tempered too. She treated me very poorly. I have really never had such a bad color job - and I have had some dozies!\r \r She over processed my hair - bleached it out until it was white and treated me and her other clients with a very poor attitude. She is just miserable & very condescending.\r \r I did not think it could possibly get any worse. Then, I got a shower and much of the white, over processed hair fell out. I am beyond disappointed. She is supposed to be a master colorist/stylist and she charges (over charges) for it too. \r \r I would avoid Rolf's salon - even in desperation. I can't imagine why, how she is still employed. Wonderful facility, great customer service! There is one specific hairstyle I have been hoping to have but no one ever seemed to get it right... until now! I saw someone with the exact hairstyle I was looking for and asked where she got her hair cut. She told me she went to Rolf's at Arrowhead and gave me the name of her stylist, Justice. Though I've had nothing but awesome customer service from anyone I interacted with at Rolf's, my main experience has been with Justice. I told her the hair cut I wanted and without missing a beat she got it right. It was perfect. Pros: friendly, clean, nice area more
