Downtown lounge 3/18/2006

Viceroy is a fun lounge in Belltown. They have a bunch of large couches, and on the weekends they have a DJ keeping the place lively. Not really a dancing destintation, Viceroy is a great spot to stop by for a drink or two, but unlikely a place where you'd spend the full evening. Although it was St Patrick's Day when I visited, the bar was relatively full early in the evening. As the evening pushed on, the crowd thinned out appreciably (1 AM). more

A good choice 11/29/2005

Nice place. One of the nicest bars I've been to in Seattle. I guess they specialize in martini's. I had a mojito - it wasn't steller. more

    We emphasize an extensive spirits selection, fresh juices, local produce, housemade syrups and five types of pristine ice. The staff at Rob Roy gives the utmost attention to the details of crafting perfect cocktails. To accompany these cocktails, we offer a selection of small plates, hand-crafted by Chef Gordon Harris.

    Rob Roy also has leather walls, a reel-to-reel tape deck, and a lamp made of a stuffed hoof...A serious pursuit of perfection is no reason to take one's self too seriously!
