Great Selection No pressure 7/22/2011

Wow. I was amazed to find this place. They have the biggest used bike selection you will find. Great inventory. No pressure sales team. Ryan sold me my new toy and I highly recomend him to anyone. What Andy said! except I actually did buy my bike here. During my first visit Todd helped me and my friend Peter navigate the aisles of this place (which happens to be a mile from where I grew up in Big Bend, WI, geez, what are the odds?!??) which is huuuuge. Pulled out a ton of bikes from both the cruiser side and the sportbike side. Really spent a lot of time with us. more

Just a quick note to compliment you on a tremendous staff you have and to tell you about the wonderful buying experience I had recently. I purchased a 2007 FJR from RRT last week and couldn't be happier. On the phone Adam was very professional and gave me straightforward answers to all my questions.(and I have a lot of questions!) He didn't make me feel uncomfortable during the negotiation process and made everything go almost effortlessly. When I got to the store, he treated me the same way. He had all the time in the world to help me and did a fantastic job doing it. The rest of your staff was great too! I interacted with Mike(mechanic), Dean, Ben, Chad, Garrett, and "Butter" in person and Todd and Mike(parts)on the phone. All were friendly, helpful and seemed very happy with what they were doing. Nick, how did you manage that? You should write a book! So let me thank you in a big way and again say I had a great experience at your business and respect your staff for all their help. more

Wow, what can I say? I really love the Z1000. This bike is better suited for my efforts to ride like a responsible adult man than was the CBR1000. I believe I got a good deal and have no regrets even though I've had a couple problems with it. The response form all of you has blown my mind and has impressed EVERYONE I have shared the story with. more

great experience 7/8/2011

I want to let you know how thoroughly pleased I was with all aspects of my Honda CBR trade-in and purchase of a BMW 1200GS. It started when I pulled in to the back lot, where I was greeted merrily by Butters who unloaded my CBR for inspection. I should mention as well that Butters spent about 20 minutes with me during the loading of my "new" bike explaining how to tie-down a bike including different tie-down tricks and preferred tie-down location.s Great teacher, and it made the drive back to MPLS through the snow a stress-free event. Tod was great, from our first conversation through closing the deal. Knowledgeable and helpful every step of the process. He never came across as a "salesman" but rather a resource in helping me think through the GS purchase. I felt at easy and absolutely comfortable with the transaction and feel it was a fair deal for all. Finally, I should mention how helpful Joe was. I know he was busy working on bikes, but he took a fair amount of time discussing the bike with me, how his father-in-law used it, and answered embarrassingly simple questions thoughtfully, thoroughly, and patiently. In short, it was a great experience which I've already relayed to a couple of friends. I know where I'm buying my next bike, and hope to send some buddies your way! more

Just wanted to drop a line to say a big thanks to the whole crew. As hectic as things were at the Midnight Madness sale, everyone took absolutely fantastic care of my wife and I while we worked our way through picking up a 2003 HD 1200 Custom. I'll have to say, without hesitation, that the experience from the customer end was one of the finest I've had in my 40 years of breathing. Being treated like that on a slow day would have been awesome, but on a night like that? Top Notch! The trip home was very enjoyable 100 miles of back roads at night... expect us to make the trip again when our finances and your inventory line up for that Heritage Softail Classic I've always wanted. Additionally, I Hope to have yo hear as many times as possible, "Aaron and Shan-Aan sent us.. said you guys rock!" Thanks again! We'll be seeing you soon. more

EXCEEDED 7/5/2011

What can I say. Adam was awesome selling me my bike and Chad refused to give it to me until it was set up absolutely perfect, just the way I wanted it! I can be difficult to please, but both of them EXCEEDED my expectations. They both deserve a raise! Perhaps Chad can get some hair. I will definitely be referring people to you, and coming back for my next bike! more

Hey Garrett, I am the proud owner of a new HJC helmet, thanks to you. Just wanted to let you guys at Road Track and Trail know how much your involvement with our group is appreciated. We had a great weekend, perfect weather and rode almost 200 miles. The highlights were a stop at Lake superior, waterfalls, sand dunes, and of course winning the beautiful helmet. Last year I sustained a concusion ripping around the sand dunes. Technically my helmet needed to be put to rest. Thanks to your generosity, I am fully protected. more

Local treasure! 2/21/2011

I had been looking for a mid-90?s Goldwing when I stumbled upon Road Track and Trail?s website. I am from the Milwaukee area and thought?. Where has this place been hiding? When I walked in, I saw a sign that said ?More Goldwings in stock? and Adam led me to an entire showroom full of Wings! I didn?t want to have to choose just one. I traded in my 82 Virago 750 and got a great deal on the Wing. Thanks Adam! more

Good Deal Horrible Customer Service 12/22/2010

The bike is awesome and the price was good, however customer service was the worst experience ever. The salesman, Rick, did not return calls or send additional photos as requested. The gentleman that did the financing, Brian, also did not return calls or get us the title and financing information in a timely manner. In fact we received a letter when the financing info was MIA saying that they made our first bike payment for us like it was some big favor when in reality it was an oversight on their part. The late title work was also blamed on the holidays when we purchased the bike in November. The only reason we went through with the sale is because we wanted a specific bike and it was hard to find. This was not a tough sale for them. We did not haggle or even come to the showroom since we were out-of-state. We basically called and said we want this bike here is the money. I would not buy from them again. They do not meet the needs of out of state customers well. We don't need our hand held and this was not our first time at the rodeo, but some communication would have been nice. The only time people at RTT communicated with us was when we contacted them. Perhaps it is better when you can physically be there, but I doubt it. Out-of-state buyers beware. more
