Residence Inn by Marriott Seattle Downtown/Lake Union

2010 - Our hotel room has 3 separate rooms: a great room in the middle with a kitchenette, 1 bedroom with a king bed and bathroom, and another bedroom with 2 queens and another bathroom. It is HUGE and nicely decorated. $180/night plus $20 for parking (parking is very expensive all over Seattle - yesterday we spent $50 in parking fees!!!!). Each morning, breakfast is served, and this is not continental; it is a FULL breakfast! The only problem is the hours 6am-9am, too early for us and we missed it today. The indoor pool, spa and sauna are indoors and right next to the workout room. The hot tub has been broken during our entire visit which is why I cannot give this hotel a 5th star plus the wifi is sketchy at best. We would gladly stay here again despite the issues noted. more

It is like home away from home. The Residence Inns provide a kitchen and living room setting that allows travelers to feel comfortable. The staff has always been professional and nice. I enjoy the weekday evening meals and daily breakfast provided. It is so great that we don't have to leave to find a meal. I now book a Residence Inn where ever I travel because I am spoiled. This Residence Inn is very nice to stay in. the breakfast selection is plentiful and good tasting. the residences are spacious with a full kitchen and separate living room areas. more

Residence inn by Marriott is a great place to stay. All of the rooms are suites and have a seperate living and sleeping area. They also have a full kitchen. They have events going on through out the week as well like ice cream sundae making, appetizers, etc. They have a continental breakfast but it is more like a buffet. The breakfast has lots of hot freshly cooked food along with the usual fruit, breads, cereals, etc. The staff are very friendly and helped us to pick a nice place for dinner. Only down side is the parking. You have to pay extra to park at the hotel and their really is not street parking that close. more
