Just perfect for a couple quick very cold ones after work, even with ""happy hour"" prices. The bartenders sure seem to have fun and enjoy the repartee with the regular customers. The backyard facilities for groups include: BBQ for BYO potluck, bleacher seating, soon a large TV for sporting events, picnic tables and chairs. This is also super for avoiding the heavy smoke clouds inside. Stay tuned for additional review of the food but the menu definitely is limited and straight tavern grub. The men's toilet is an anachronism, or just reveals just how old this place is; this tiny space has nice clean ceramic tile walls and floor and a pedestal sink plus an antique brass pull handle on the door.
Pros: backyard for groups, inexpensive, very cold beer
Cons: rundown & dowdy, very smoky, only street parking
