I have been seeing Dr. Ginsberg for 3-4 years for depression and anxiety for medication only, not counseling. The first few sessions I saw Dr. Ginsberg, who prescribed certain medications, changed medications, and adjusted dosages. Thereafter, I saw a nurse practitioner once every three months, who verified that I was doing well on the medications I was taking and at the dosages prescibed. Dr. Ginsberg sees me himself every third visit. Dr. Ginsberg has a very busy practice, with a large staff, including several other psychiatrists, psychologists, registered social workers, etc., plus support staff. He also conducts studies and his waiting room is large, with alot of chairs in it. It can seem caotic, especially in the afternoons when parents bring their children in and some of them get fussy or run around the waiting area. I feel I have received excellant care and am not offended that Dr. Ginsberg doesn't see me personally each visit.
