chef's tasting-highly recommended 7/1/2002

This is one of the best places in all of Chicago. For a superb meal, order the Chef's tasting. You will literally get 10 courses of food, each of which are out of this world. You start with a soup, egg roll, etc., and then move to shrimp, different kinds of fish, pork, beef, and noodles. You end with delicious desserts. The drinks are different and good. If you are looking for a cool place, with a funky vibe and great atmosphere, this is the place. more

Fantabulous! 6/27/2002

This is definitely one of my favorite places to dine in the entire city of Chicago. Our dine-chicago group dined here in the middle of June and the food is all we've been talking about since. The girls give it 2 thumbs up, if we had more thumbs, it would definitely get more. The Sichuan pork & Ginger dumplings are beyond words. The Hibachi steak melts in your mouth and you cannot go to Redlight without trying their Mango Martini. We tried several items from the menu and there was not one turned up nose all night (not bad for 16 girls). This chef knows how to hit all the senses. TJ, our server was fabulous and knowledgeable.
