I never thought buying a sofa could be fun. With every size, shape, and color sofa plus every kind of fabric you can think of, I was in sofa-buying heaven. I was referred by my aunt whose sofa I loved. I bought a sofa. Then I referred my mom. And I will tell everyone I know about this place. It was freedom. Never again will I be chained to buying what is simply on the show room floor. I picked everything - the seat (bench and extra firm), the arm (I only needed one), the feet (beautiful espresso cone shapes), the fabric (you go, microfiber), and the subtle details which make my sofa a one-of-a-kind. No one else has my sofa. Cool, huh? The customer service also was one-of-a-kind. Any service person you pick in the store is knowledgeable and will take ALL THE TIME YOU NEED! Really. It's true. You ever find yourself in desperate need of a sofa bed? Guests coming into town for the holidays, that sudden relization that your parents really wont be comfy on the FLOOR? Time to grow up and get a sofa bed for your study and find somewhere nice for them to sleep. SO..... I went on a mission for a sofa bed that doesnt look aweful but would also be comfortable. I went to a lot of stores where the pieces were too big or too ugly or just would take way too long (They were coming in 3 weeks and some places with nice ones like Crate N Barrell took 10-12 weeks!).. So, as I was driving home, I lucked out and spotted The Sofa Company on Lincoln. Now we are talking!\r \r Not only were they able to make a cool ""Polly"" sofabed for me in only 3 weeks, I was able to get a really nice air mattress they have that was sooo comfortable as well. I choose a red suede fabric that was low priced and stylin. Sure its just a sofa but its really cool and it looks much better then the blowup matress that I had last year.. Anyways I couldnt have been happier with the whole experince and besides the sofa being great, everyone at The Sofa Company was really nice. Check them out! Fast, Cool and affordable! I recently purchased a sofa from these guys, and I have to say, I was impressed. The sales women Emily that helped me let me walk around without making me feel presured, but was very knowledgeble when I had quetions. I figured custom was going to be hard to figure out for a single guy but as it turns out, it wasnt really hard at all. in fact it was fun and their prices are very reasonable, so I was able to get a sofa I could afford and that I actually like. I havent bought a lot of furniture but when I need more I will go back to them and recomend others do too. Pros: Service and Lots of options Cons: No parking more

The sofa is fine- nothing fancy but basic and what we needed. Craftmanship is OK. However, customer service was a problem. They took six weeks to deliver (when we bought it, they told us it would take 3-5 weeks and said closer to 3 weeks). Then they screwed up the delivery date and blamed it on us (even though I wrote down the date and times) and they would not make things right. Very frustrating since we had everything moved out and had taken the morning off to be there for the delivery. I'd go to Macy's next time. more

I wanted a one-of-a-kind sofa to fit with and in an odd space. Angela at SM store was incredibly patient, and used her expertise to guide me away from mistakes and toward good choices. VERY happy with the outcome, and everyone remarks on how perfect it is. PLUS, two years later (!) Fabby Gonzalez at HQ graciously went to the trouble to fix a design problem at no charge. Just an amazingly good experience. GO THERE!. more

It is so great to be able to custom design your own sofas and chairs. Our living room set looks amazing, we have kids, a dog, tons of guests over and it has held us so well and I expect it will for a long time. The best part is that the Sofa Co. donated a portion of the cost for a sofa in our local elementary school library.\r They are very generous to the community as well. Thank you Sofa Company! I wasn't sure what I wanted or how to design it; Angela was tireless in helping me create the perfect sofa, and it was amazingly reasonable. Then, 2 years (!) later, Fabby very kindly help me fix a design flaw -- which entailed a lot of labor -- free of charge. Best people ever, creative, and patient -- and my sofa doesn't look like anyone else's. (Definitely go there!) more

Wow ! I felt like a kid in a candy store. I came in with my daughter and the salesperson was so darn hepful and knowledgeable. Simply put, if you want a gorgeous and comfortable couch and you want to buy from a place you can trust from an intelligent and informed salesperson...go to The Sofa Company and work with Ryan!! I just bought my first brand new couch. I was so afraid of not making the right choice, that although I feel in love with this couch when I saw it in December, I shopped around all over the place until I found myself back at The Sofa Co five months later. Learn from my mistake and don't bother going anywhere else. There isn't any place better...they have the best selection, the best warranty, and the best quality. I worked with Ryan who was amazing. I recently moved and decided to abandon all my old furniture for new furniture. I started out just looking for a sectional and knew what I wanted, but couldn't find exactly what I was looking for. I was ecstatic when I found The Sofa Company because I was able to customize everything from the fabric, legs and piping and have them ""build"" the sectional I had envisioned. Although I've looked around quite a bit for furniture, I always seem to end up back there. I've since then bought two chairs from them and am anticipating going back to finish furnishing my place. They built my furniture on the early side of their estimate and delivered my furniture well within the time range given. not only did i buy one sofa from the sofa comany but a sectional as well. my first purchase with them was a extreamly comfortable sofabed for my guest room. the customer service was great, i received both my sofa's in a timely manner and couldn't be happier. My sofa was delivered a month ago and the compliments haven't stopped! I just love this place. Where else offers such a selection of sofa styles, fabrics, leg options, etc? I was able to get the perfect sofa that matched my style. \r \r To all those people that wrote bad reviews, I'd like to share my last sofa buying experience. \r \r My last sofa from Pottery Barn was...\r 1. way more expensive. \r 2. since Pottery Barn offered the sofa in only 5 colors, I settled on the color and just haven't ever been happy about it \r 3. Pottery barn took 4 months to deliver (The Sofa Company delivered my custom sofa in 3 weeks!) \r \r I've already recommended this place to all my friends. I'm a customer for life! I wasn't thrilled with my sofa-buying experience, but once I got one of the customer service people on the phone, they did everything they could to correct any errors and ensure that I was a happy and satisfied customer. They are a small company and mistakes unfortunately happen, but they really work hard to keep their customers smiling. More importantly, my new sofa is fabulous.
