I have come into Rocco's a few times now, this time in particular to eat dinner with a few friends. I was very pleased from the time we arrived until we left...4 hours later. It was a Wednesday night, which meant half priced wines. 3 bottles later we realized it was time to leave. The food was fabulous and the service was friendly. Can't wait to come back.   • One look at the large, tree-filled garden patio at this Lincoln Park restaurant and you’ll wish Chicago’s weather allowed more months of outdoor dining. The 150-seat area is a big draw for kid-toting families, as well as neighborhood types looking for a place to relax over Italian standards like fried calamari, linguine with clams, and thin- and double-dough crust pizzas. Inside, there are plenty of cozy nooks, decorated with vintage photos and colorful ceramics, as well as tables topped with iconic red-and-white checkered tablecloths. The 16 beers on tap and half-dozen flatscreens that flank the U-shaped bar make it a prime spot for catching a game.
