It will be 3 years this August since MY SON DIED At This Daycare (formerly called Mama's DayCare). He was 15 months. They changed the name to Rainbow not less than a month after my son died. I should have recognized the signs of their negligence but as a first time mom, I trusted them. That was my mistake - First my son always had these knots on the back of his head which was a sign that they kept him laying down all day long. They never allow anyone to walk into the daycare (I always felt this was strange). They make everyone wait at the front door - snow, rain, sleet, cold, hot....etc. They would fail to turn on the air even if it was 100 degrees out! and they could never tell me exactly what my baby ate. These are just a few things (don't have enough space here for everything). Also, I found out after the death - that they also have a separate daycare downstairs in the basement. All these children (must be over 20 kids) and only 3 women to watch them. When my baby died - Maria (one of the owners) said she noticed my baby was yellow so she put him down for a nap and 7 minutes later she came to change his diaper and he was blue. . . She failed to call me, my husband, his doctor (who's about 4 blocks away) when she noticed he was not well, Anyway, I can't get into the details because it is very upsetting. They never, ever, ever called me with any type of condolences. Not a letter, not a card, not anything. Instead they changed the name of their business as if nothing had ever happened. It was on the news and I'm sure they felt that others would recognize the old name. These people are a disgrace and should be shut down forever. I cannot believe that they continue to endanger other people's children as if nothing like this had ever happened.
Cons: Negligent and Misleading
