Rain City Services did not show up during the two-hour window that they said they were going to. They did not call me. I had to call them! Then, they told me they had ""no idea"" when the movers were going to come, but likely 3 hours late. When I asked for a discount the receptionist, Jo, accused me of being a ""bargain basement shopper"" because I already had a low rate. This was the rate published in their ad! When I told her that I am also in sales and when I don't hold up my end of a deal with one of my clients I offer them a solution, she accused me of giving her a ""hard sell"" (I was not trying to sell her anything) and said that she would not send her movers into the ""hostile environment"" that I created. Keep in mind that they are probably 250-pound men and I am a single, 25-year old female. I couldn't imagine how her movers were ""at risk"". She refused to budge on the discount and could not offer me a time when she could reschedule my move. I will publish this same story in any place possible on the internet, (and to my 500 Seattle-based friends on Facebook) report this company to the any place that I can, and be speaking with the owner on Monday. Thank you for reading!
Cons: Did not show up, did not offer to fix problem
