In Short
The new fashion and food baron of downtown Manhattan Beach is Petros, owner of this vintage store and a namesake Greek restaurant in this seaside town. Just two doors down from his upscale family restaurant, this wood-lined shop overflows with neatly folded and well-maintained Levis--some light, some dark, some perfect, some holey, but all part of the American brand that first pioneered denim as fashion. Tall boots ready for saddling up and black strappy ditties reminiscent of an '80s Madonna highlight the variety of leather footwear lining shelves and window space. Creatively patched and shredded jean skirts, sturdy belts and buckles worthy of John Wayne and a small selection of vintage dresses and detailed jackets complete the medley of quality recycled get-ups.
