In the past R&T Hood and Duct Services was better. We do a lot of service with them and need more coordination. They clean all of the hoods and it turned out OK, but they need to focus more on doing stuff better. They are not bad which is why we keep using them. They are better than other companies. R&T Hood & Duct Services was good with scheduling and showing up on time. Their work was satisfactory and I would use them again. I gave the above ratings after watching two technicians attempting to lift a range hood off the curbing. I watched them and it didn't entirely look like they knew what they were doing. The hood ended up being set slightly crooked on the curbing. more

The communication level with R&T Hood and Duct Services is really good. They monitor the experiences and keep up with the fire standards. They send out an email well ahead of time to schedule an appointment. We are open really late, until 3am, so they have to accommodate that for us, and they do. I haven't personally interacted with them, but my staff says that they are on time and always very helpful. Recently, they discovered some damage, they notified us about it and we are having it repaired. They're very aware of the work they do. Things really come together with them. more

R&T cleans our grease exhaust system and handles our fire extinguishers. They've always been on time. They're always courteous and they get the job done with no hassles. I don't have to worry about them when they come out. They're very trustworthy. more

R&T come in 2 times a year and do fire suppression systems, also all of our fire extinguishers. They come through and do everything, we've been using them for 10 years and never had a problem. We always pass our annual inspection. more

R&T Hood and Duct Services showed up a little bit early. We arranged for 9:00, and they were here at 8:30, which meant they had to wait because we were still open at that point. As far as the hood cleaning itself, they did a very nice job. It looks great, and they were nice, courteous, and cleaned up afterwards. There are two negatives I have. First, they put a sticker on the hood saying it had been cleaned, but it didn't have a date stamp, so I had to call back for a second sticker. Second, they also broke a light in the hood during the cleaning, which would be fine if they took care of it, but they didn't mention it to me. I had to call them to get a new one sent out, and it hasn't come yet. Other than these small things, it was a good experience. They did a great job, and they were very nice and helpful. more

I was with another company for years and was unaware that although I was paying them, my system was not being cleaned thoroughly. RT came in educated me on my entire system and found areas that I didn't even know existed. I rest much easier now knowing my facility is safe and the job is getting done right. RT has shown me they truly are the pros. more

I would give them negative stars if I could. I had a bad experience in the past with them but decided to give them one more chance...WORST IDEA EVER! They performed a service I didn't request then Kenny the receptionist decided to call me up and argue about it. Bad business practice, as is calling your customers everyday multiple times to schedule an overpriced cleaning. Kim teach your employees a few lessons about customer service. Don't botherusing them. There are plenty of professional companys out there who cost way less. more

I used this company once in 2006 to service my hood system and found them to be overprice. I switched to a different company and everything was going well. R & T hood constantly call the restaurant trying to schedule a return service I let them know I was using a different company. Now in 2010 they called daily trying to get authorization to come service our system. I told them no then one morning they just came and did the service without talking to me ( the other stickers were current from AAA) and got my cook to sign the receipt for service. I called them right away and told them they were not authorized to service my equipment. They keep sending a bill and now are going to send it to collections. I've talked to other business that have told me the same thing. Don't trust R & T hood and duct! Scammers!!! Cons: Unauthroized service more
