Can I give them Ten Stars?\r There just aren't enough words to describe how thrilled I am with the cake that Queen of Cakes made for my parent's 60th Anniversary! The cake was exactly as we had discussed, I ordered it over the phone from Atlanta, and emailed them a photo of the cake I wanted, and it was PERFECT! Everyone in my family was simply knocked out by how beautiful it was. We hated to cut into it to serve it because of how pretty it was! We ordered Chocolate with the Baily's filling and it was delicious! Fabulous service, wonderful to work with. Almost wish I were getting married again! more

I just ordered my wedding cake from Queen of Cakes. I went to sign my contract and pick up some extra samples. At that time I signed my contract and paid in full. The next day or so, I got a voicemail stating the delivery charge was not $20.00 like we had in our contact, it was actually $40.00. They demanded I paid this extra $20.00 after we had already signed a contact and paid in full! I was unwilling to pay for this because we were quoted $20.00 numerous times and had already signed a contract and paid in full! After speaking with a wonderful employee, there compromise was to either refund our $20.00 and we can pick up the cake ourselves, or we could pay the extra $20.00. We spoke with the owner who gave excuses and explained that the person who helped wasn't a wedding consultant, she didn't know prices, etc. These are all business errors. As a good business, you would think that you would eat the $20.00 to please a customer and to continue to get good referrals. Instead, she became argumentative and defensive about why the fee is $40.00 instead of $20.00. After about 5 minutes of arguing, we stated that we wanted to cancel the cake. She said okay. She lost a $300.00 sale over $20.00 and lost a lot of potential great referrals. This is a very unsatisfied customer that will not be giving good referrals to Queen of Cakes. more

I LOVE Queen of Cakes! I was a very particular bride when I was planning my wedding two years ago, and Queen of Cakes was up the task! They created a beautiful, delicious cake that was exactly what I wanted. Their prices were the best from the numerous bakeries I had tastings with, too. My husband and I were so pleased with their quality and service that we can't go anywhere else! Thanks to Terri and her staff for their unforgettable cakes! I just wanted to thank Queen of Cakes for my excellent Wedding Cake! It was beautiful. I wanted the fondant look without the taste and they created a perfect looking cake with buttercream frosting. I looked many places for the perfect cake and found Queen of Cakes to have not only the best flavor in their cakes, but the best prices in town. I highly recommend that all brides-to-be stop by for a tasting. My guest kept asking where I had bought it (out of town wedding) and I was thrilled to brag! Have have ordered several cakes from Queen including my wedding cake last year. They are always wonderful. Their red velvet cake with Bailey's mousse is to die for! It's the new family favorite. Our groom's cake was a perfect replica of a Johnny Walker Blue Label bottle that everyone raved over and my husband was so surprised. The only disappointment was on our wedding day when our cake topper that we ordered through them was not on top of the cake. It was a mere snafu in our day and didn't matter at the end of it. It was on our order sheet which was quite detailed but we realized that we were not charged for it in the end. I'm not quite sure why the other reviewer had such a problem with her cake because Bethany was precise with our order. I would recommend Queen of Cakes to everyone! After meeting with the owner of Queen of Cakes for over an hour 6 months before our wedding, we expected our cake to look exactly as we explained. When we showed up to our wedding, we discovered a childish looking embarrassment of a wedding cake. (i.e. asked for NO fondant and NO piping- both of which were covering the whole cake!) When we confronted the owner, she blamed us for not explaining what we wanted- and discovered she took NO notes during our meeting! How unprofessional! Refused to refund the amount we requested (which was not the full amount, which would have been more appropriate!) Refunded minimal amount and will not take responsibility for her mistakes. We had our wedding cake baked by Queen of Cakes last April. What a fabulous cake! And the owner and staff really know what they're doing, and actually listen to you. We met with the owner and had mentioned a cream cheese filling flavored with crystallized ginger we were considering: she had a sample ready for us! People still talk about that cake: white cake flavored with coconut, with two fillings: pineapple and the above mentioned ginger. She even copied a design from our wedding invitation to ice on the cake in gold. Absolutely no problems or concerns: we ordered, we paid, and they delivered a delicious cake right on time. I went to the queen for my 30th birthday cake last summer and boy was I glad I did. They listened to every word I said and created a delicious and beautiful decorated cake for my big party. I would recommend Queen of Cakes to anyone looking for beautifully decorated cakes. The staff are impeccable and the service was fabulous. Everyone commented on how great the cake was: I had a 30 shaped cake of bavarian cream on the 3 and strawberry fililng on the 0. It was wonderful! more
