This place is awesome! It is super affordable, clean, and is in walking distance to everything. I have stayed here several times with my family and I would definitely recommend it...

We stayed here for 3 days. It was very central Hollywood Blv was only around the corner. This place is great if you only want to dump your bags & just hit the road sightseeing. Rooms were spacious beds were comfortable & the staff were friendly & helpful. The breakfast was great good selection although the dinning area was small not a major issue. We would stay there again for sure. more

Bottom Line: this is the second time we have stayed here and would be happy to do so again. Rooms are clean and nicely decorated without being fancy. There were workmen there during the day cleaning the pool and the immediate area. The front desk person was friendly, solicitous and sent a fax for me at no charge. Secure parking in basement. No charge. This is the kind of place that I appreciate if I am not staying at a top tier hotel. Good value, well kept, good location and friendly. Breakfast is included but not particularly good. There is a waffle maker, boiled eggs, yogurt, bread, muffins, juice, coffee and a staff person to refill things and help. If you are on a low carb diet, have breakfast somewhere else. Still, some hotels have nothing at all. more

My partner & I stayed here in May for the first 2 nights of our 4 week holiday to the states. When we arrived, the hotel was undergoing reno's so the outside of the building was very gray and looked nothing like the photos. The reception area was small and the guy who checked us in said that if we waited around for 30 mins, our room would be ready. Our room was clean and comfortable. There was an extra basin just outside the bathroom door, so that was handy. The pool had lots of leaves in it and needed a good clean. The breakfast was great, had everything you needed. The room is small and the cutlery, plates & cups are all plastic so you can go back to your room or sit at the tables around the pool. The location is great if you want to explore Hollywood Blvd, this hotel is a 10 min walk from the Walk of Fame. There's a great Thai restaurant not too far from the hotel as well as iHop, Denny's ect. I would stay here again as it's well priced for the location. more

This hotel was so centrally located, that once we parked the rental car in the gated, underground garage we were able to walk to everything! So convenient! The price was really great considering we were in Los Angeles where things are pretty expensive. We even got a smoking room, but they also had non-smoking rooms available. The front desk guy was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was pretty good for being free. The breakfast room was too small to accommodate everyone, but there was a lot seating outside around the pool, so a lot people were eating outside. The room was pretty clean, a little older but still a pretty good deal. We had a lime tree right outside our door, which was cool. We noticed security cameras in the outside hallways, which was good but I felt safe all the time we were there. I would recommend this hotel just for the rate and location. more

This hotel is located in a excellent area. It's just three blocks from the Hollywood Walk of Fame and next to lot of good restaurants. They are under renovation, so with have allergy definitely stay in another hotel. They offer free parking, that is a good point cause you can save some bucks and the breakfast is pretty decent (waffle machine, fruits, bagels, etc). Its a small room though, so you have to go early in the morning. The rooms are clean, have microwave and fridge but the walls are very thin and you can hear everything from your neighbor. For the price and after renovation it worth's staying there. more

Great central location for doing Hollywood and the La Brea tar pits. It is just down the road from the walk of fame!! What is also great is that you can park underneath the hotel in its basement parking. You have to check in before you can park as you need your room key to gain access to the carpark. We didn't and blocked the access!! There are a couple of bays at the side of the hotel where you can park whilst checking in. The check in was quick, friendly and we got a lot of info from the guy at reception. We booked room 219 at the back of the hotel and it was quite quiet. Room was large, it had 3 seats, plenty of hanging space and also 3 drawers for clothes. It had a very large flatscreen TV, a medium sized fridge, microwave, coffee machine. The room also had a sink area with hairdryer, towels, toiletries and a big mirror. A/C worked well.\r \r Toilet had a bath/shower and was very clean.\r \r Hotel has a pool but I didn't think it looked all that clean.\r \r Breakfast is typical of budget motels - tea, coffee, toast, muffins, cereal, porridge, waffles, bananas, apples and ""fake ""OJ"". The breakfast room is too small for the size of the hotel and it does get very busy and full!! more

Great location to walk everywhere and free underground parking for the rental car. They were renovating and the pool was not available during our stay. It would have been good for them to have informed us before hand. The dining vroom is two small for the amount if guests, so we opted to rather eat at some of the great locations nearby. more

Stayed here for two nights with friends on the way back from Fiji. The rooms were comfortable and clean, the hotel is perfect for sightseeing around Hollywood blvd. The dolby theatre is only a 10 min walk away.we went on an organised tour of all the sights which was booked through the hotel, and was very good value for money, it was only about 70 dollars for a 6 hour trip. The hotel is ideal for a short stay, and I would stay there again. more

Stayed 3 nights in 103, perfect location for us. Coin laundry across the road, just around the corner is my 2 favorite American restaurants IHOP & in n out burger oh and the walk of fame is just up the road.\r If I had to be critical I would say that there was a little bit of mould in the shower, the pillows are too small and quite un-comfortable and they haven't got around to fixing the room signs on the building they have used duct tape. Didn't use the pool but it would have been fine although not very big. The breakfast room is very small so it gets crowded in there but the breakfast is free and they do have a waffle maker.\r In summary I would stay here again def and highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay in hollywood. more

We staying in LA for 4 nights and the hotel itself was not too bad. Sadly Los Angles was a bit more dodgy than what we had hoed for but the Hotel is close to a few main attractions and the staff was helpful. more

We stayed here for a couple of nights in August. Great location for the tourist-y part of LA. Just round the corner from the Walk of Fame, Mann's Chinese Theatre etc. \r \r Room felt clean and beds were comfy. Breakfast was good, with an ok choice. Waffles, cereals, toast etc. But it does finish quite early (9am I think). \r \r Would stay there again for location and value for money. more

Got this via Priceline so you never know for certain the quality. I'm also used to staying at five star hotels via my job...just the couple nights before I was at the Santa Monica Beach Hotel.\r So this could have been a shock...\r But...it was perfectly cute and nice. VERY clean. People very nice. Quiet, parking and, again...very clean.\r About 4 miles from the heart of Hollywood. The area also was very cute.\r Recommend for sure. more

From my stay with freinds in Hollywood I could ot have chosen a better hotel. The location was amazing! It was right on the safer end of the Walk of Fame and there was easy bus links next to it to Universal Studios, Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica and Vencice beach. The hotel offers very safe parking but because of the good location, we need not need to use our car at all! Rooms were clean, staff were freindly and breakfast was just right! No noise was heard in our room and the chose of restaurants and shops nearby was great. Would reccomend for a great sight seeing base. more

nice clean rooms, location is what brought us, service and staff is what is sending the reviews, they were impecable, we didn't use the pool but did sit around it during the evenings, close to all you would want to see in hollywood, bus stops on corner going both ways so getting around is ok if you don't drive. just be sure to get a bus stop map so you know which route to take. eating out is limited in hollywood in general but look around and you will find some places. mel's diner was good as was pig and whislte, sizzlers is ok but a little of the beaten path, definately would recommend and would stay again \r more

We stayed one night here in between places as we wanted to stop over in ""Hollywood"" to see the strip. It was just what we expected.... Clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good, and the woman running the breakfast was in the room keeping an eye on things and interacting with customers. Very nice people at this location.\r The Room itself was basic, but we felt it was clean.\r For around $100 in this area, we felt it was good value.\r Its not the Hilton, but it was what we were looking for. more

We stayed one night in this hotel. Location is fine if you to be near Hollywood area. It's really far from beaches, though. Our room was clean. We had 2 queen beds. Sleeping quality was fine more

I stayed for 4 nights while attending a medical conference at Loews hotel. The room is good, it has a little oven and a frigobar, iron, free wi-fi, cable tv, free breakfast more

Really good location within 600 yards of the main Hollywood boulevard. For the price this was a great hotel with secure underground parking. Rooms were clean and tidy and the breakfast was reasonable. more
