Best Pedicure ever!! 10/12/2011

A new nail salon was opened on 67th ave and the 101. I had an amazing pedicure today! Not only are they running specials because they just opened but I was there for about two hours and everything was great! Usually a pedicure doesnt even seem to last an hour sometimes. Brandon gave me my pedicure and he was wonderful! I really enjoyed it even if i do think its a little over priced but well worth it! I would try the new place if you've had a bad expierence. Ive been to azul day spa and ive always had a good expierence there as well! Thanks Brandon! more

Ask for Kayla 6/3/2011

I give Kayla 5 stars. She is honest and cares what the customer thinks or wants. Ask for the running of the salon, it is unprofessional. The owner is always trying to push you on someone else when you request a person, they also rush you off the phone when trying to make appointments and when you get a pedicure more options are pushed on you. I have been going to this spot for about 5 years now and have been through 2 owners but I have to say, Kayla services are always nice. They never lift on me and I play softball...I have hardly never had a break or accident with my set of nails done by her. more

DON'T GO! 5/6/2011

This place and it's parent company Azul Day Spa is unprofessional, uncaring, and generally rude to it's customers. The 2 techs I've dealt with were pleasant enough (although they push awefully hard for additional services and did answer cell phones while working). My issues started when I tried to use a gift certificate my husband bought me awhile ago. It had NO expiration date and was written on a laminated, decorated cardstock printed with the company name, so I had no reason to believe it wouldn't be honored...well it wasn't. I was given many excuses such as it was an "old style" gift certificate, the company has changed owners, there's no dates on it, etc. Why is that MY fault??? This is what we were given to use. THEN to top it all off, when I spoke to the manager, I was laughed at, belittled, AND accused of getting the thing out the trash and writing it myself!!!! I'm PISSED! There goes $50 down the drain when we could really use it. Needless to say I will not be going there ever again and I hope you don't either. more

Overcharged! 10/28/2010

I went for a pedicure last night, and I was clear with the mthat I wanted a basic pedicure ($18) with a design on each big toe ($5 for both). Three different women asked me if I wanted a manicure too, and I declined each time. The pedicurist offered designs on each toe ($15), or a "deluxe" pedicure for $40, which included the design. I declined each of these services. The pedicurist suggested the deluxe pedicure again - I declined and reiterated that I wanted the basic pedicure. Halfway through scrubbing my feet, he told me that I have "a lot of skin and need the deluxe." I told him no thank you, perhaps next time. However, I gather that he did the deluxe pedicure service anyway. I walked out paying over $40, which was more than twice what I had agreed to. Pedicure was nothing special - neither exceptional nor below average. I will never go here again. more

great 2/14/2010

the shop was clean and nicely laid out. the employees were polite and obliging. The service provided was more than adequate for the price. I intend to continue going there. more

kayla is the best!!! 1/31/2010

for the best acrylic nails ask for kayla! my nails looked GORGEOUS and never lifted or broke and stayed shiny and pretty! I am super picky with my nails. And she is funny and honest. I drive out of my way to get my nails done with her. she is well worth it. more

Don't go here! 8/19/2009

I USED to love this place. But it has gone down hill since Annie left. The new owner does not run a professional salon. The nail techs answer their cell phones and have lengthy conversations in the middle of your service, tacky! There is no more attention to detail. All of the good techs left and the ones that still work there seem inconvenienced when they have to get up and greet a new customer. Don't give them your business! more

Horrible & sloppy 6/14/2009

I came in one Sunday to get a full set of these nails that looked gorgeous on the mannequin hand. Here's what I got instead: rushed, sloppy nails that looked nothing like the ones I picked. The guy who did my nails seemed like he had never done this design before as well. The nails were supposed to have two real flowers placed in between the gel. Instead, he told me my nail bed was much too small for two flowers and put only one, making it look random and weird. Then he drew on some white flowers and because he was in a rush to leave, hurriedly put on the gel when it wasn't even dry, making them chip within the first day I got them. The gel continued to come off the following week and I went back hoping they could fix this. Nope, they just half-assed put a new coat of gel on and didn't even fix the messed up, chipped flowers. My nails looked like they were on for ages and felt very ugly to me. Finally, not even a week into wearing these nails, they lifted! I was extremely upset, seeing as I paid 66$ for this sloppy junk. Never going back, as I have learned my lesson. They don't care about what YOU want or expect, they just do it their own rushed way. more

Best Nails salon and Skin care in phoenix 9/24/2008

This is the best place to get acrylics lots of choices and if you have never had them before or dont know what you want they are good at helping you decide. The pedicures are the best also and it all lasts for 2 to 3 weeks and is perfect the whole time. Other salons have had the polish chip or nails break in a few days. Their facials and waxing are really good. Even if you have sensitive skin I would recommend this place to anyone more

Pro Nails by Tina 1/31/2006

Pro Nails by Tina has a lot of options for acrylic nail-lovers. In addition to a full menu of spa, waxing and manicure/pedicure options, they have over 60 different colors and styles of acrylic for your nails. For example, if you’re tired of the typical white tip, you can try pink or red or neon green or iridescent glitter – match your color to your mood for a minimal upcharge of about $5. Additionally, they use a gel topcoat that keeps your nails looking wonderful for up to 2 weeks. A special bonus – a neck and back massage is included with every pedicure! Their quality of work is good and the owner is very friendly and willing to meet your needs. However, it’s important to be very clear with what you want and speak up immediately. On one occasion I decided to try a glitter treatment on my tips and it wasn’t exactly how I expected it to look. So the next day I called back and the owner told me to come in and they would fix it, but then they proceeded to charge me the full price again, and the woman working on my nails blamed me for not speaking up the day before. When I decided to have them remove my nails for a time, the man working on them actually ripped off part of my nail, causing my nailbed to bleed. He then blamed me for not telling him that it was hurting when he was working on that nail, and I told him that they were all uncomfortable to begin with. All in all though, I would recommend this salon if you want a high-end feel with a low price tag. Just be sure to be very clear about what you want and put your foot down! more
