Pro Nails by Tina has a lot of options for acrylic nail-lovers. In addition to a full menu of spa, waxing and manicure/pedicure options, they have over 60 different colors and styles of acrylic for your nails. For example, if you’re tired of the typical white tip, you can try pink or red or neon green or iridescent glitter – match your color to your mood for a minimal upcharge of about $5. Additionally, they use a gel topcoat that keeps your nails looking wonderful for up to 2 weeks. A special bonus – a neck and back massage is included with every pedicure! Their quality of work is good and the owner is very friendly and willing to meet your needs. However, it’s important to be very clear with what you want and speak up immediately. On one occasion I decided to try a glitter treatment on my tips and it wasn’t exactly how I expected it to look. So the next day I called back and the owner told me to come in and they would fix it, but then they proceeded to charge me the full price again, and the woman working on my nails blamed me for not speaking up the day before. When I decided to have them remove my nails for a time, the man working on them actually ripped off part of my nail, causing my nailbed to bleed. He then blamed me for not telling him that it was hurting when he was working on that nail, and I told him that they were all uncomfortable to begin with. All in all though, I would recommend this salon if you want a high-end feel with a low price tag. Just be sure to be very clear about what you want and put your foot down!
