I cannot speak highly enough about this company! They really helped me out in an emergency situation. My brother was getting married last week and the wedding programs that I ordered from another company online did not arrive in time. The day before the wedding, I was very nervous and on my way to another store to buy paper that I could use to print up programs myself. Thankfully, on my way, I happened to walk past Print Icon, and the people could not have been more helpful!! I spoke to a person who may have been the owner and he immediately told me he would be able to print these programs in time and he also sat me down with a designer who was very helpful and designed a beautiful program. I could not believe my luck!! AND even though originally they estimated that the program would be available by 6PM, when I asked if it would be possible to have them by 4PM, they said yes! When I arrived at 4PM, the programs were ready and were absolutely beautiful and were printed on very nice, high-quality paper. \r To top it all off, they did not even charge me extra for this rush service!! The prices were very reasonable. My brother and his new wife were very happy with the programs. THANK YOU PRINT ICON!! YOU WERE LIFESAVERS! more

I should have listened to my friends from SVA when they told me to avoid that place. They are famous for messing up orders and not keeping deadlines and charging for reprinting orders they messed up and messing up again (like cutting in half postcards that are supposed to be folded). As far as the quality it's the same as any other print shop, I didn't see any difference. So not only they were late with order twice and came there for nothing twice but the owner had the nerve to tell me that I am wasting his time when I asked what time my prints will be ready for pick up. Actually I think the owner's attitude is their biggest problem because he makes promises he can't keep and he is very arrogant and patronizing when he does it. more

while this is not nearly as huge as kate's paperie, i was surprised by how much i enjoyed this store. the service is more personal as it is less busy there. they offer a different selection of papers and stationary- so a plus if you are looking for something unique. And also- I often find great sales here. Some things I love from there: their large sheets of wrapping paper in bold colors, their see-through envelopes, gift bags for packing party favors. More modern offerings vs. the traditional finds at Kate's paperie. more

I came here to buy some envelopes. I was pretty pleased with their selection and thought the prices weren't too bad either. They also had a great sale table with some quality paper and envelopes. Not as fancy as some other paper stores, but they still have a good selection. more

every graphic designer's dream. PI has a gorgeous selection of paper for all your printing needs. They have a sweet selection of handmade paper as well. Everything is organized, the prices are extremely decent, and they provide a website for you to get estimates online. more

WOW! With over 20 years of working in fashion and real estate, I've never been so impressed with the print work done at Print Icon. We just got our business cards done, and they are so gorgeous that some clients have been bashful when exchanging theirs! The attention to detail, the refusal to be average, and willingness to work meticulously on a custom project resulted in the most remarkable marketing piece for our company brand. Check the RE/MAX card out for yourself on their wall display. I'd gone to so many shops in Long Island and New York City and was always unimpressed with the portfolios as well the lack of onsite workflow. It was very fortunate that a friend recommended I eat at City Bakery where I discovered Print Icon by accident. Without hesitation, I will be using Print Icon for all our future print projects, and if you're wondering what will separate your brand from others...I highly encourage other businesses to do the same :) more

I love this store almost for the sole reason that you can see the printing presses running in the back of the store. You just don't see that ever. more

Great quality printing with decent selection of papers. Offers customized letterpress and various offset and odd printing arrangements upon request. They will tackle most jobs that average printers can't comprehend (keep this in mind for unique invitations). Pricey but for the area and for what they do, it is fair and top quality. more

All I have to say about this wonderful store is that they are true professionals, they provide wonderful service, their work fast, their equipment is state of the art... you are not going to find a better place...excellent experience. more

This place is great. I came here and needed 4 copies of a 30 page presentation printed and bound. I needed them in a hurry. As soon as I walked in a guy in charge waved me over to the back office of the store and sat me down next to a designer. Since I am a graphic designer I found this amazing. I knew that I would be talking to someone who understands. Oh no! They couldn't open my document because they did not have the latest version of quarkxpress. No sweat. I stayed and hung around for a few hours while they downloaded it, installed it, fixed my errors and printed it. I sat there with my dog in their office and was just amazed with how smooth this place runs. So I loved the prints. I said to the man in charge, ""When can I pick up the bound books?"" He says slowly, calmly and staring in my eyes, ""I don't know, I am thinking about doing it now maybe."" Like it's no big deal. This place is amazing. They act like every problem is no big deal. They just kind of shrug it off and take care of it immediately. Don't have the program? No big deal. Need it right now? Um, okay that's fine. I got this all done within a few hours and I expected it in a few days. They took care of me so fast that I never had the chance to tell them that I was on a very tight deadline and needed it ASAP. They just took care of it and my presentation was beautiful. more

I designed my own wedding invitations in Illustrator and went to Print Icon for the printing on their state-of-the-art ""Indigo"" printer which is an amazing machine. I looked at other options from Village Copier to Paper Access (which is now called Paper Printing and Production) to Kinkos, but nothing met all my requirements for quality and turn around time that Print Icon could. The folks at Print Icon were great. Sharp, on the ball, friendly, and calm. They caught a couple important issues that would have been disasters (my post card was not the required size for the post office to deliver). I spent one hour working shoulder to shoulder with their graphic designer ($60) who was worth every penny. We had to go in a re-size the whole 2 page invite to match the post card and import my fonts. They also re-sized and printed a map for the invitation. I requested some special textured paper stock that was like water color paper (pastel) which came out beautifully. Their proofs were ready with in minutes while I waited. The invitations cost what they had estimated, and they even did the folding and hole punching I needed. Over all, it was an excellent experience. I also appreciated that they had a wide selection of other items I needed such as ribbon and envelopes to match my invites. highly recommend going to them in person with your project and talking through the options. more

Print Icon came highly recommended by an art director friend of mine. So I trusted them with a pretty elaborate printing project involving foil stamping and die cuts and the like. I was so happy with the results that I had all my wedding invitations, menus and thank you notes printed there as well. And as I just started a new business, I will be picking up my new business cards and promotional postcards tomorrow. Say hi to Vahid from me, he'll take good care of you! P.S. Simply love this store because they carry awesome stationery, cards, paper, envelopes, gifts, accessories and tons of cool stuff like cardboard designs (such as tables, space dividers and vases made of cardboard ((!!!???))Yeah...really! They have some services (graphic designer and printing) available on the store; where you can also watch a big printing machine working. Cool stuff for people who loves stationery.\r more

I have been a graphic designer for 8 years and have never been able to find a printer as professional as PrintIcon. They were very responsive, professional, and provided beautiful paper selections as well as an amazing end product. I guess the previous 3 bad reviews must of been from people who haven't spent much time with printers because these guys are the best!! Vahid is my personal favorite! My friends have used them and raved about them and I find them to be just GREAT!!!! more

Print Icon is definitely the place to go for speedy service, and superb quality prints. I got my whole design portfolio printed and got it back the next day! great paper quality, and color and printing is really the best you'll find. Very helpful service, I came in with a list of picky specifications and they were happy to help. Also very knowledgeable, they literally know everything about paper and printing techniques. The price is pretty standard too, not expensive at all, given the quality. more

I had a great experience with Print Icon. I designed our wedding invitations myself and had them print there digitally. (I was helped by the designer with some formatting and other issues at a small additonal cost). The service was extremely prompt and professional. This family-run place is reliable and pleasant to work with. Of course, ask to see proofs before you have 100+ copies of anything made (I caught a few colors that were off, and some minor omissions) . Whenever there are several email exchanges and several people involved, there can always be mistakes or omissions. If you keep an eye on things, check the proofs, and work closely with them, you should have a result you are very happy with, at a decent price. I highly recommend this place. more
