Accommodating 3/8/2012

Management was great - very accommodating. The comfort of the room was good enough. The community areas were convenient and cool, the only thing was that the oven didn't work at the time, but it wasn't a big deal. Everyone who was staying there was nice. I would definitely come back. more

Great Stay 3/1/2012

I had a great stay. The only thing that could have been better, but not a big deal at all, was the noise at night. But what do you expect when you're in a prime location? I would love to stay there again. more

Friendly Nice and Safe 2/8/2012

Friendly, easy check in experience - they met us after our plane arrived! The room was very nice, and I felt safe. Everyone from the staff to the other boarders, were very friendly. This is a very good deal for the space and location. I would love to come back and stay another time. more

First Time 1/11/2012

We had an enjoyable stay. It was our first time at a hostel, and it was much better than we had imagined. It could have been a little cleaner, but it wasn't that bad. Management was wonderful. We wouldn't mind doing this again! more

Great Hospitality 1/6/2012

My stay here went fairly well. The staff was friendly and the rooms were super clean. The bed was soft and comfortable and the pillows were big and plush. I particularly enjoyed the barbecue they served. Overall like I said this was a good experience and I would stay here again. more

Thanks for the excellent service during my stay there. Your staff was very polite, courteous, and accommodating. Not too many hostels offer such outstanding service for such low rates. The location was great for me and the rooms and entire grounds were extremely clean. more

Friendly Staff 11/28/2011

My husband and I had a great stay here! The barbecue was great and the people were very nice and friendly. We always felt at home here and we learned a lot about the Island and it's culture here. This was our first trip to Hawaii and our stay here made it worth while. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Honolulu. more

Highest Professionalism 11/10/2011

I just wanted to say I appreciate all the kindness from Mr. Richard-san, and the excellent service at Plumeria. I must say, I will be recommending Plumeria to my students, family, and friends. It was nice to chat with Mr. Richard-san, and I wish I had a bit more time to visit. He really helped out a Japan Earthquake refugee. So thanks again for the service and fine establishment. I will definitely be back. I also really appreciated Marcus' help and local advice. Definitely the highest of service and professionalism I could find in Hawaii. more

This was my first time ever in Hawaii, and I had a blast! I want to thank Plumeria Hostel for the great stay. My only complaint was not having the greatest air ventilation in the room, but besides that everything was awesome. I can't wait to come back. more

Very helpful and nice people. Good rooms, a bit warm. It would have been nice if there was a refrigerator available somewhere, but everything was good. I really enjoyed my stay, I wouldn't mind coming back. more

Best Deal in Honolulu 10/31/2011

The services were very flexible considering they had very limited staff. They could make improvements in the room, such as air conditioning, tile in the bathroom, but the room was very spacious, so I really liked that. What really made the stay great were my roommates. With everything all together as a whole, the amount of money I spent to stay in Honolulu was the best deal. I'll be back! more

Welcoming and Accommodating 10/26/2011

The facility is a bit dated compared to Vegas strip hotels (obviously!), but the service from all the employees make up for everything. They are so welcoming, and so accommodating, it really makes for a great vacation. more

Enjoyed my Stay 10/18/2011

I really enjoyed my stay at the Plumeria Hostel, besides that the fan wasn't working in the room, and the smell of gas would come into the room from the streets. The noise was a little too much too at some times. But besides all that, I really enjoyed my stay. The staff was really nice, along with all the other guests. more

Had a good experience. Clean environment, convenient location, nice staff. I would like to see upgrades on the beds, air ventilation, and really, the whole facility. But overall, I had a good stay. more
