A VERY DISAPPOINTED LOYAL CUSTOMER 3/31/2009

I work the 11pm-7am shift at a local hotel in North Austin and I was elated to find out that there was a delivery place that stayed open so late. I must admit despite the amount of bad reviews that they had gotten from google up until this point I had not had a bad experience with them. But on 4/01/2009 at about 1:30am I called and placed an order for a large BEEF pizza, it got there swiftly and I did not even look at it b/c i had so many good experiences with them before. Well, when i opened the box it was a pepperoni pizza w/ little burnt pepperonis on top. Before i started to eat i called to let the manager know, and he told me that i order a pepperoni pizza b/c he was the one that took my order, even though i know i did not order that b/c i do not eat pork but he informed me that they use beef pepperoni so i did not argue. but once i started to eat the whole experience got much worse. It was like eating card board. it was cold and it was the worst pizza i ever had to pay for. on top of that we paid 32.00 for it. Pros: open late Cons: not willing to admit they screwed up more

best Pizza 11/30/2008

Good food, Latest hours, Largest delivery area, Only option in town during the night/morning 11/20/2008

**First a confession. I work here, currently. People are more likely to leave bad reviews after a bad experience than good reviews after a good experience. Now that's out of the way.** Pros: Good food, Late hours, Large delivery area Cons: Depending on where you live or how busy it is, delivery can take a while more

Unfit for Human Consumption 3/10/2008

Austin has a lot of pizza places, and plenty of lousy ones, but Pizza Classics manages to combine spectacularly bad food with the worst service I've ever encountered. Though I was quoted a price of $28 for two large one-topping pizzas, the delivery driver demanded $42 (!!) for the same order. When I spoke to the manager on the phone, he was rude and personally insulting. The food was nearly inedible and the service appalling. Avoid Pizza Classics at all costs. Pros: The food was nearly edible. Cons: Deplorable food, service, and prices. more

bad, expensive pizza. go somewhere else to latenight binge. 5/8/2007

Save yourself the $18 for a pizza. Sure it delivers later than any other pizza place, but it will take an hour and a half to arrive, and will be cold and disgusting. We should organize to put this place out of business. more

Best Late-night Pizza Hours 2/18/2007

The pizza is decent. But when its late at night and nobody else is delivering. Its the best tasting pizza when you're starving for food. They have the latest hour of operation than any other pizza delivery that I have seen. Pros: Latest hours of operation than any other pizza delivery. 2-4-1 offer if you pick it up yourself. Cons: Pizza is sometimes dought or salty or both. more

Unbelievably Terrible! 9/16/2006

The whole time I was forcing this pizza down I kept wondering how it was possible to make such a disgusting pizza. Tasted doughy, extremely salty, very little sauce, and the meat was inedible. In general, do not order this pizza, it is unfit for eating. Cons: Tastes Terrible more

This is not like the other Pizza Classics. 5/15/2006

There are other Pizza Classics that are great. There is a really good one in North East Austin, and a good one in Kyle, one in San Marcos, and one in San Antonio. They all have good pizza and apparently don't like the owner of this place. These pizza shops only share a name. They aren't really a franchise or anything and the ads I've seen for the one up north specifically says that it is not affiliated with any other Pizza Classics. One of the employees said he wished the other store would change their name but this guy paid the original owner for the rights to use the name. I highly recommend any of the other locations. more
