QUICK CHEAP HEALTHYer 5/7/2006

If you're looking for a speedy alternative to McDonald's, and cannot afford much more than Micky D's, try this. You can get almost anything you want wrapped up in a warm tasty pita in minutes. They are steps from the train and the loop so its a perfect lunch stop for the 9-5ers. Some people in my office order take-out from here and they've always been satisfied. It's definitely worth trying. more

The food at Pita Express is always good if you want a change of flavor/taste in the Clark and Lake food court. The prices are decent and the food is delicious. It has its own seating area and there is usually no wait, unlike Panda Express and Taco Bell. The cashier usually leaves something to be desired though... more

Pita Express at the Thompson Center 3/18/2006

Pita Express is in a deep corner on the lower level food court at the Thompson Center. This is probably the best ethnic food choice at that food court. They have good and filling daily specials featuring lamb with a side (something like couscous or greens). The turkey shawerma and turkery burger are good as well. You can always count on snappy service here. more
