I had a painless experience at Piercey Toyota! 8/29/2011

I am usually on the defensive side when I first walk into a dealership. I feel like a bunch of sharks are staring at me ready for supper. At Piercey Toyota, it was quite the opposite. There was no pressure, and and most importantly, no bs. I stopped by Stevens Creek first, and the sales guy sat me down for hours going back and forth on a price. I finally left in frustration and went back to Piercey. They gave me a price on the Prius I wanted, which also happened to be the best price in the South Bay. It was painless, and I actually enjoyed the company of the sales team there. Since then, i've recommended two other friends to that dealership who also bought a Prius from them. Btw, Mckiver is phenomenal to work with! Such a friendly guy, and just straight up. more

Service runs very smoothly 8/22/2011

I purchased my Prius here last year and I did my search online. I was connected with a salesman that wasn't pushy at all. He showed me exactly what I wanted and even allowed me to bargain a bit. =) I've been coming here also for my car maintenances. I know it costs more to come to the dealer, but with my new hybrid I want to make sure my car is in good hands. My cars been in 3x so far and each time, service runs very smoothly. It's nice not having to make an appointment and usually they are right on the dot about ""how long it'll take"". I like how they have refreshments for their customers and plenty of seating for you to work. There's also free wi-fi which keeps me busy and entertained during my wait. Piercey Toyota makes me not cringe when I have to bring my car into the shop. I know I'll still be able to be productive while my car is being taken cared of. more

David's your go to guy if you want a great deal! 8/16/2011

Purchased 03/23; this is a late review, but here it goes!! Me and my boyfriend purchased a car from David Cepeda, Floor manger and was awesome! We had been having problems financing a vehicle due to semi good credit but no down payment. I had been calling numerous of dealers that all stated they can help but when it came down to it they were all lies. We had been car hunting with no success. Finally i gave this dealer a shot and saw his ad in a Mexican car magazine. Right off the bat he was really nice, and was straight to the point, NO BS! He works a little differently. He actually processed our application first and we waited for a financing company to finance us. We let him know what we could work with deposit wise and what our max was on a monthly payment. The next few days he processed our application, and he worked his magic and got us approved!!! Can't thank him anymore for a huge relief and a great car!! I highly recommend him!! He's been in the business for 15+yrs and knows how financing works! He's your go to guy if you want a great deal! more

My family has been bringing their Toyota's to Piercey for years. Everyone is super friendly and helpful and the service is always done right the first time. And for a dealer their prices are very competitive and fair. A plus is they are right by the Great Mall so I can shop while getting my Sienna serviced!! Woohoo! more

Makes life so much simpler 8/8/2011

Got my car 20k check up. I purchase those pre-paid service coupons for every 5k until a certail mileage. this is the convo me and Ed from service me: I think i hear something odd at my back wheel when i brake him: oh, well since u have a 2007 model, there has been a ""recall"" on the brakes so we will check it. me: okie dokie, do i have to pay? him: no its covered under your warranty me: *HOOORAY* 4 hours later him: seems like all 4 of ur struts are leaking me: *clueless what the hell struts are ..* him: its okay it will be covered under your warranty me: *HOOORAYYYY* Good thing daddy got me the warranty + service coupons, i dont have to be baffled by the things they say and the things they do, and know that i won't have to pay for anything .. makes life so much simpler! more

Do what most dealerships don't 8/4/2011

Buying a car from a dealership is never fun. I found that working with Brandon Madsen was very low BS and we were able to buy without feeling like we overpaid and without feeling like we gave our money to a bunch of crooks (see: Toyota Marin). First of all, Brandon worked with his manager to give us some pricing information over the phone, something most dealerships won't do. Once we came in, the vehicle was waiting in the front for us so we could immediately get in and drive. Once we decided to purchase the vehicle, he worked with us with very little drama, paperwork, or wasted time to get in and out quickly. We were really easy customers because we knew what we wanted and were ready to buy but no matter how great a vehicle is, we do not give our money to businesses we can't feel good about patronizing. Yes, Piercey is a dealership that is out to make money, but they are also very fair and personable. more

I had to have some warranty work done on my car and contacted Toyota online and got a call back from them within minutes and it has been great customer service ever since. Piercey was very professional and personable when it came to working on my car. They are a huge contrast to the ambivalent Fremont Toyota which I drove past because my personal experience, my friend's experience, and fellow Yelpers experience rate the Fremont one very low. If you can get your work done at Piercey I recommend it, this experience makes me want to buy another Toyota vehicle. more

Easiest car buying experience ever 8/1/2011

Did most of the process online. They did forget to fill up the gas tank but I brought it back. They even detailed my Camry again for me trouble. Other dealers should take lessons from this place. more

Traded my Camry, bought a Prius 7/29/2011

I'm not really a review person but I felt this experience needed to shared. I've been a user of their service department for a few years. I work right across the highway at Cisco. I dropped my Camry off for an oil change and while I was waiting for my co worker to pick me up, I started looking a new 2011 Prius. Jennifer in sales answered all my questions and was very helpful. My coworker was running behind so I decided to test drive one. I figured since it was a hybrid it would be gutless, but its not, its got plenty of power! Long story short is I actually ended up staying there and trading in my Camry and buying the Prius. I got a great deal and it would have never happened if everyone at Piercey wasn't so damn cool!! more

Really great for kids 7/28/2011

Wow. I can't believe there are one-star reviews here. I've had great experiences here, and so has my friends. The customer service here is the best I've ever seen. I've had my oil changed, and they went ahead and replaced a bulb and washed the car, among other things. The waiting area is really great for kids and adults. The attendants are really knowledgeable. I love that you don't have to make an appointment; it doesn't take that long to be seen. If you want to go to the Great Mall while you wait, they have a shuttle that takes you there. The prices might not seem great, but you get what you pay for, meaning really great service. And before they charge you, they show you what they're going to do and ask if that's okay. more

My car still runs well after 8.5 years and 172K miles 7/26/2011

i have been bringing my car here for service for a few years. I have never been treated rudely by anyone. I don't know if their prices are the cheapest compared to others but it's close to where I work and the work is done in a timely manner. One time I had a part replaced (I think it was some sort of belt tensioner) and then four months later they told me I needed the same part replaced. When I informed them that the part had been replaced four months earlier, they said that they would check up on it. Later on I got a call and they said that the part was under warranty and they would replace it for free. A buddy of mine who is quite the cynic likes to point out that I've got no way to verify what I'm being told but my car still runs well after 8.5 years and 172K miles so I'll keep on bringing my car back here. more

A good experience 7/25/2011

This was my first new car purchase and we had a great experience with Piercey Toyota. We worked with Stephen Tran in the internet department and the first quote we got from him was only $150 over invoice and it included the $660 destination charge! Stephen was prompt responding to emails and was even nicer in person. He found us the color we wanted even though they didn't have one without options on the lot and he also talked to some of their wholesalers to get us a better value for our trade-in. Even though they were incredibly busy the day we came to test drive and purchase the car, everyone was friendly and we didn't feel rushed. Jamie in the finance department was easy to talk to and not at all pushy. It was a good experience all around and I'd definately recommend them. more

Better than I expected 7/21/2011

I bought the Prius I wanted over the internet (email, couple of phone calls), reasonable price, not much time wasted, limited hassle. The Internet sales guy was Hal Lam I don't have any other data on the dealership as a whole, my experience was limited to a few emails and calls, and then shuttle to the purchase, but my experience was good. The car and price were as quoted and the attempts to sell me extra stuff were limited and there was only minor pressure. I only bought the car today, so we'll see about any further experiences, but so far, so good (better than I expected). more

Great place to buy a car if you have bad credit. 7/16/2011

Annette in Finance was very helpful. My wife and I recently filed Bankruptcy and we needed a car. We had some down payment and most dealers said they could help us, but they always ended up saying we either needed a co-signer or more cash down. I found Piercey Toyota on Google and read about their special finance department, so I filled out the application online and what we were looking for. Jennifer who works with Annette called the next day with the great news. We got approved for an almost new 2009 Toyota Sienna which was perfect. Great service, great representatives, and very accomodating 7/15/2011

First thing I saw was the big smiling face owned by a nice Vietnamese girl with a slight lisp to accompany her words. Rolled down my window and she said ""hello! How can I help you today?"" told her I was due for an oil change, needed to rotate my tires, and tighten my e-break. She smiled and said someone will be right with me. Then out comes Danny - the man who took down my info and asked about why my front bumper had a slight misalignment -- (I couldn't tell him the story of the poor Mormon who I hit on his bicycle then got up and told me to have a good day -- I am now SURELY going to hell) I just said ""long story."" and left it at that. After putting my info in, I was taken to the waiting room. From the outside, it almost resembled a cafe because they have all these tables and chairs and people with laptops sipping coffee. It's suuuuper spacious here! They even have a ""kid's corner"" with a flat-panel screen tv. I hung out in this area and had the TV all to myself. They even have complimentary coffee/mocha/water/milk and donuts! But I got there too late and one of the jerks with laptops took the good stuff and I was left with crumbs. Pfffft, whatever, at least I have my TV!! 45 minutes later, it was done. And my cute turtle shaped light blue Yaris (aka Vael and YES my car has a name) came sparkling from the corner, still wet from the complimentary car wash. My total for the service? $0 dollars. Because I gots prepaid service. Huzzah! Great service, great representatives, and very accomodating. Kudos to you Piercey Toyota! more
