Steamy hot Pho! 5/8/2006

My favorite Pho in the city! 7th between Jackson and King is the best. Lunch gets a bit crowded but it is the best hangover helper and the women who work there are super sweet. Traditional with incredible broth and fresh ingrediants. more

Definitely Best Pho in Town 2/22/2006

I've been going to this place for years & have never had a bad bowl of Pho. It's a little closer to downtown than some of their other locations & not usually as crowded. The folks who work there are very nice & will definitely remember you if you are a regular. Their Pho is always delicious and most flavorful. more

When you need your Pho Phix! 12/22/2005

The smaller Pho Bac sits as a stand-alone building at the corner of the Jackson-14th Ave-Rainer intersection (not the larger Pho Bac Restaurant). It offers Pho and nothing but! Cheap bowls of Pho are served up fast and fresh with the traditional "trimmings" of bean sprouts, basil, jalapenos, and lime - add in some hoison sauce and siracha and you're set for the perfect cure for a rainy Seattle day. Visit often to figure out your favorite combination of rare steak, well done steak, meatballs, tripe and or tendon! more

Best Pho In Town 10/11/2005

If you prefer thin, ramen-esque noodles, you'll love this place. That's the only thing I can possibly think of that might turn someone off. The first time I had it I was a little surprised, but the most delicious pho in Seattle quickly reassured me. Nice little place, set back in the International District, great atmosphere and you never feel rushed. Great iced coffee too! I'll never go anywhere else, unless I want cream puffs of course. more

Noodle Soup...more linguistically enjoyable than Cellar Door 9/20/2005

If you want cheap Vietnamese food in a nice environment with good service, then Pho Bac is the place to go. Yes, Rainier Ave is a bit sketchy, but when you can get a large bowl of noodle soup for under six bucks, you can't argue. The menu has many options, but personally, I think that stopping in for some soup and conversation with a friend makes for the perfect offbeat lunch. Plus, you get to say "Noodle Soup" and nobody will look at you like your crazy; and isn't that all we really want in life? more

A decent Vietnamese restaurant 9/15/2005

This place is another good Vietnamese restaurant in Beacon Hill. Their food is of decent quality and their selection is good too. I like the fact that the location is easy to get to, a little ways off the highway, which makes this place good to get a satisfying fix to the Vietnamese munchies. more

Great Pho and assorted Vietnamese 8/10/2005

This place drew large lunch groups from our office for over a year, and occasionally we had to go elsewhere because it was full. Great Pho -- I always got the Pho Tai (beef pho). more

Delicious Pho 9/13/2004

Maybe not the best in town (there are so many good ones), definitely not the cleanest, but my favorite Pho shack in Rainier Valley. I even wrote a song about it: http://8megsofmojo.com/pinkphoshack/. more

Best Pho in Town 7/12/2004

That dirty, derelict, little pink ship plying the waters of the busy intersection at Jackson and Rainier happens to serve up the finest bowl of Vietnamese noodle soup this side of Little Saigon. The menu is perfectly simple - beef is in everything and there are only two sizes. I consistently order the Pho Tai and an iced coffee and am never disappointed. more
