We left our Spring puppy with the Woodinville Pet Hotel. She was happy when we picked her up and she loved the play time. We will do this again.

scheduling error 12/29/2014

I called the grooming department a week in advance to make appointments for my 2 dogs. When I showed up on the scheduled morning, they looked through their book and could not find us, then eventually found us scheduled a week later than the appointment I made on the phone. Maybe if they had an automated scheduling system, this error wouldn't have happened. more

unqualified management and staff 7/2/2009

I have boarded my dogs at the Petsmart Pet Hotel in Woodinville, WA for almost 3 years and used to love taking them there, but over the last year it seems they constantly change staff and I never see the same faces. A few months ago my dogs started to have behavioral problems during their stays. One started chewing on his leash, which I've never seen in the 9 years that I've had him (got him at 8 weeks old). Apparently he also chewed on one of the staff member's shirts and refused to let go. Again, this is highly unusual behavior. My dog doesn't have ANY chewing problems or other behavior problems at home. So for their safety and sanity I won't be taking my dogs back...ever. more

welfare 2/3/2009

I patronize this store because it no longer sells large birds. The largest ones I've seen in a long time are budgies. Thank you to this store for being a leader about selling appropriate birds and for the info pamphlets on the different bird species. more

Lindsay does a great job with my Shih Tzu "Emmie". I highly recommend her for this breed. She is loving and gentle. more

Pets Hotel at Petsmart was OK 2/27/2007

Our two dogs stayed at the PetsHotel in the Woodinville Petsmart. The staff seemed friendly and more open with us than other reviewers have noted. The hotel offers lots of options for "extras" while your pet boards there: extra playtimes, doggie daycamps, and treats. Our dogs got a few extra playtimes there during their long weekend stay. Overall, I would rate PetsHotel as a middle-of-the-line boarding facility. It has enough perks and opportunities for extra doggy-attention that I consider this a acceptable place for my pets, though I would rather they stayed at Bone-A-Fide (it was full for a holiday weekend!). more

Never board your dog at PetSmart...Please 11/22/2006

The play area is very small, dogs are cramped and clearly not supervised with care. Old dogs appeared stressed and employee was clueless as to the levels of stress some of the dogs were presenting. They will not offer a tour, it's all window dressing and behind the scenes is almost secret. I would not board my dog anywhere that would not allow me to tour, anytime, not just designated hour of a day. Which I don't believe that is even offered. more

I don't recommend PetSmart for boarding your dog 8/26/2006

After touring the facility I would never board my dog there. The staff could not answer simple questions like "Is there an isolation room for a sick dog" They seemed to just skirt around questions. Also, now that the open house is over they will not let your tour at all! I would not take my children to a preschool without seeing where they will be and we are suppossed to be comfortable with leaving our furry family member in their care and they won't show us where they sleep. Sure, you can peek in a window from the lobby to see one kennel, the "special" bedroom like kennel but that is not the kennel. Also, dogs are never taken out to see the light of day. I know my dog would not eliminate indoors and that would stress her. Dogs can get ill from stress. Just not a comfortable set up. I looks great on the outside, but as in real life, it's whats on the inside that counts and so far that remains a mystrey. more

All Your Pet Needs 3/20/2006

A pet superstore, indeed. Everything you could possibly need for your pet. Got a great inventory of pet food, toys, supplies, etc. Nice to be able to bring your pet to shop. Make sure you get their Pet Perks card. (So many store are doing this, that I've got a whole key chain full of 'em, but what are you supposed to do?) wish they would stock some dog houses, or at least more of a variety of wood houses. more

I want my Bo-Bo! 3/19/2006

PetSmart is our dog's favorite place next to Northern Espresso where she is given a milkbone every time I get a mocha. We like to go to the PetSmart in Woodinville to get dog food at a reasonable price and of coarse for the toys. Our pup just had to have a Bo-Bo after she saw it on a commercial. She loves her Bo-Bo. We also like it that our dog can come with us into the store. She really likes all the smells. more
