My experience at PDG Computers was wonderful! The staff is complete with knowledge and that personal touch of a local store.\r \r The Service and Labor rates are posted on a huge sign, and all the computers have specification sheets with prices. If you can read English you can probably understand.\r \r I had a screen replaced on my laptop and bought a refurbished computer for my son. I paid less for those two than the big box was quoting just to have the laptop fixed!\r \r You Rock PDG! more

Scammers! Do Not buy a computer from them, I should have looked at reviews before using them. I went there for a laptop and they told me the difference between buying from them and a place like Wal-Mart and Ebay was that if something (short of spilling coke in my computer or dropping it) would be fixed for life free of charge! I went in today because I had a crash report on a supposidly brand new computer, and the lady there said no, they have never done that, they would loose money if they did that. I have been in on several occations and each time I go in they have an Acer computer there with the wrong statistics listed on it, stating its a duel core. I have called them on it FOUR (4x) TIMES now, and they change the sign to the correct one and then I go back in and the wrong sign is there. They tried to sell it to me twive saying it was a duel core not realizing some people know how to go into the sytem to check the specs on it!! I am afraid they may have also replaced my hard drive with an old one or given me a used computer because there were things on my hard drive that shouldnt have been there for a new computer and it was dated for early 2011 and I bought my computer the middle of 2012?? Bottom line the owner Gary is a real smoothe talker and dont go there!! more

Always a great experience with my computer 11/28/2011

I am sad to see that some people have had bad experiences with PDG. I have purchased one computer there, had one repair there, and purchased accessories, cords, etc. from them. Each time they were very knowledgeable and kind. Maybe the staff has changed since I have been here in GA (two years) because I have NEVER experienced rude or unprofessional people, and I would be the first to say if I had. I recommend them for repairs, and purchases. I have never dropped a computer off for disposal, so I don't know about their practices with that. more

Worst Ever Experience 5/7/2011

This was the absolute painful experience ever with a computer company. All the bad reviews are correct. And the owner or owners of this company are the most unprofessional group I ever met. They sell computers cheap but you get what you paid for. These computers are donated to them by people who *BELIEVE* they are being e-disposed properly. I dropped off my computer that their tech then told me was trashed. I go back a week later to buy a machine just to see my so-called trash being sold by them. There was a small mark on my machine that only I knew was there because it wasn't noticeable at all. So do not drop off a computer to these people because they are not disposing of them as they claim. And when I told the person who said he was the owner of the store, he told me it was now their computer and they can do with it as they please. These are crooks preying on people who think they are doing something good for the environment by dropping off e-trash to these people. That's how they stock their stores. Crooks but they have a nice scam going. more

How can you treat customers like this and still reamin open? 1/26/2009

We bought a refurbished tower for $475.00 02-08\r \r The 03-08 the computer had a virus. I dropped the tower off. I confirmed the price and authorized Donna to fix it. I went back a few days later! Tthey didn?t fix it, stating that there was no authorization! \r So, after another couple of days??.We paid another $125.00. \r \r 11-08 another virus, the ?AnitSpam virus?, Icalled and spoke to Jason. bring it in. Well, I could not get it there 12/23. they neded to erease the hard drive, I told him that I wanted the manger to call me. So, Jason called me & I instructed him to fix it & I would be come get it when it was finished. \r I called them and told them that I would be picking it up on by Friday 01-23. That night I had a family emergency so I called them and told them I would be there first thing in the morning. The man on the phone told me 9am is when they opened.\r \r Saturday at 9 am, I arrived at PDQ. No one was there. After about 20 minutes, someone showed up. I went inside and explained that I was there to pick up my tower, gave him my name. When he brought my tower back up front, he said they did not do anything to it. I told him that I authorized it with Jason. I asked him who is was, and he said Jason, the Store Manager! What an Idiot! He acted as if it was no big deal, and carried my tower to my car. He showed no emotion, no concern and absolutely any Customer Service!!!!!\r He was very rude. I was not happy, and he did not care. He is the store manager; he needed to address my problem. I have paid $734 and was ready to pay another $159.00 for a refurbished tower. No, they did nothing. NOTHING! They had my tower for over a month, they had my authorization to erase the hard drive; they called me weekly asking when I was going to be picking it up. \r \r Loganville location is the most unprofessional, arrogant staff that I have ever dealt with. We will never use them again and make sure no one we know will either!!!!!!!!!!!!!!\r Pros: Matt, the IT man that was trying to fix it! Cons: THE STORE MANAGER JASON more

Bad Customer Service + Bad Computer = Bad Rating 9/21/2006

I bought one of their refurbished computers from a person named Donna. She assured me it was in working condition and I could get my money back if not. Sign posted said no refunds but she said she's the manager and it's okay. Plus, she'd send one of the techs out to set up my wireless. Well, I get home and the computer does not work and a strange clacking sound inside. I take it back the next day but Donna was out sick so this tech was the only one in the store. He tells me about the no refund policy when I ask for my money back. I told him the manager said I could. He calls somewhere then says the manager did not remember saying that to me. I asked when would Donna be in and he said she wasn't the manager then gave me the manager's card (which was only a slip of paper to show lack of professionalism). But the manager's name is not Donna but Lydia. I told the tech about the part about coming out to my house for free that Donna promised me as well. And he was completely surprised by that. He did take a quick look at my machine because he thought it might be something ""minor"". It turned out to be a bad hard drive making the noise and he seemed rather mad about that but in a way where it seems he has to deal with them selling bad machines before. I took the machine because I wanted to confront Donna again. The next day I went back and Donna was out again and the tech said he wasn't sure if she'd be in that day or not. How can this girl be employed and people not know if she'll be in or not? However, Lydia was there and helping another customer. I waited until she finished to talk to her. She not only apologized for what Donna told me but let me take a machine one step up from what I had to make me happy I guess. Too late though. I will never go back to this company ever again! Pros: Lydia and the tech, who if they leave then the store probably won't be there much longer Cons: Donna and her giving misinformation for a sale, store looks rather like a shack on the outside, Christmas lights still up outside in late July was odd more
