David recommended that I have my dryer cleaned out at the same time since Iâd never had that service performed before. He quoted me a very reasonable price over the phone and gave me an actual appointment time (unlike the big service contract companies that give you a window of four hours). David and Oscar were timely, professional, clean and courteous. They removed and replaced the part on my washer and also checked out my dryer. David said that my dryer was very clean as it was, and therefore didn't need further cleaning. He added that doing unnecessary work can sometimes bring about other issues. He could have easily gone through the motions of cleaning my dryer and charged me for it, but he didn't. So I ended up paying less than what I had been quoted. Our front load washer quit working last month and we needed it fixed pronto. Sears quoted us 6 days to get someone out, so we called around and Paul's Service made an appointment with us first thing the next morning. If they say they'll be out between 10 and 12, make sure you're ready to receive them at 9:59! At first it seemed our motor had quit and they tried replacing it, but when that one also didn't work they figured out that the control board was failing and arranged to come back the next morning with the new part. Our front load washer which was no more than a few years old was making a clicking sound when the water would drain. An exceptional Family-Owned Business. We just called Paul's Service and spoke with David. Taking his time on the phone, approximately 10 minutes, it was clear that what needed to do was purchase a new machine not pay the fee for repair. We called several companies to no avail in getting a straight answer as to what could be possibly wrong with the machine. I would like to share our experience this morning of Paul's Washer and Dryer Repair. Arriving on-time, Paul's presentation was professional. Clean, warm and professioanl Paul is very comfortable in his profession and takes his work with seriously. Taking his time in completing a thorough inspection the diagnosis was a faulty water pump. Paul took his time in explaning why the water pump failed. The pump failed due to washing a bath mat through the machine. The mat fell apart and clogged up the pump. In an effort to save us money Paul cleared out the pump out and try to have it work, but to no avail. Paul's had the part, our machine is working as good as new.
