Best

Pacha is killin it right now. Hottest international DJ's keep pouring in...I want to take a break but its tough when you see Mark Knight, Avicii, Kaskade, and then Afrojack, Laid...

Worst

The wait t oget in wasn't too bad, there were a ton of people there. I went when cosmic gate was playing. I dont know if the kind of people change depending on whose playing that ...

Worst coat check.... 2/9/2008

A great place with great music, but the coat check is really nasty and no customere service skills at ALL( she was yeling at me ) ....I had a nice evening ruined by the coat check attitude...and by the way make sure you do not ask for anything from your pocket is extra 2$ !!! ...for the "great" service that they provide... more

Great Club, Worst Crowd Mix 1/11/2008

Great club, great music, sound system and line up of some of the best DJ's in town. Here's a tip for pacha- start choosing wisely at the door! Pros: Music!! Cons: Crowd more

Best Night Club in NYC 12/2/2007

I didn't even think how my life would change after this evening in Pacha. I was looking on Citysearch for different clubs and saw Pacha... i remmebered every minute spending there. It was 6th of January (Ukrainian Christmas) my future BEST FRIEND envited me to his birthday party. I met him online and i had nothing to do so i decided to go there. I never met people by internet but ... i was glad i did. I loved this club and what he gave to me. After this party he and his friends became my BEST FRIENDS too. I will never forget this evening and Pacha. Four floors, with any kinds of music you want , will make your evening unforgetable. You never know what can just casual evening give you. more

buy advance tickets! 11/16/2007

when you're holding an advance ticket you'll whizz past the long lines and avoid inane cover charges (i overheard guys talking about admission costs up to $50). i was bit intimidated by other reviews and normally dread going anywhere above 14th street because of the whole 'bridge and tunnel' stigma, but to my surprise it wasn't nearly as awful as some people make it out to be. plus i have a simple solution for the expensive prices: drink somewhere else beforehand. anyway, no attitude, no weird looks, was able to get a drink within seconds of ordering it. the only downside is after everyone's good and buzzed by 3am, ladies you'll want to watch your backs because that's when guys get real stupid and let their hands and smart mouths wander. suffice it to say the girl to guy ratio is severely off balance... so bring friends to avoid getting tag-teamed on the dance floor. other than that, nice club, top notch talent, and i think it'll definitely become my super secret hangout away from the downtown scene if they host more MADE events. more

good time 9/27/2007

Great Time 9/24/2007

Went to Pacha for my friends bday party in August. We got in no problem. We got a table in the room with the showers which was great. What was really good is the fact that the club has four levels which on that day played different types of music. Got a chance to check all of them out and they are all different so you cant get bored in that club with all the different areas to go to. Over all I have to say I had a really good time and i cant wait to go back there again. Pros: Service, Music, Ambience, Decor, more

Hip Hop and House in one 9/19/2007

I listen to Hip Hop but some of my friends like House so Pacha was a good choice when our desire to dance set in. Some of us stayed upstairs in Pachita while others went to the main floor for House. It was a good experience over all. The atmosphere and decor is classy and the music is pumpin. I would definatly go back. more

Awsome night out in NYC and Pacha 9/19/2007

Me and my boyz from CT came to the city for the night. Did a little bar hopping. Got Gray's Papaya dogs and finished the night off at Pacha. We had a great time, danced to great house music, got trashed and there was tons of amazing girls. Can't wait to go back. Make sure you put Pacha on your to do list when visiting NYC! more

Bachlorette Party Gone WILD 9/19/2007

I set up a party here for my best friend's bachlorette party. We go there, and got in for free before 12. The girl even gave us some drink tickets to start the night off. My girls and I had a great time, and there was some interesting people in there. Place is easy to get lost in, was my first time there and want to go back soon. Recommend to anyone throwing a party, it worked out great Pros: good looking people, free admission on list before 12, clean Cons: alot of girls, wish there was more guys that night more

great drinks, good looking people 9/19/2007

I was visiting from upstate, went to this club after the concierge/help desk at my hotel recommended it. Entered the club pretty quickly for a Saturday night. Place is big! We dont have anything like that upstate. The music was pretty good, I am not up on my DJs but the guy in the booth interacted with the crowd pretty well. I saw alot of good looking girls, and danced until my feet hurt. I would recommend this club to anyone visiting, and want to experience a "real club". I wish we had places like this where Im from. Pros: service, employees seemed nice, drinks werent watered down Cons: none i saw, more

Love this place 9/19/2007

My friends and I got a bottle and because it was my birthday they also gave us a free bottle of Champagne. Everyone had a great time. The crowd was very in to it and everyone was there for the great music. Intimate club with a sick sound system that I can confidently say was the best I've ever heard/felt. The moving light trusses are way cool. Pacha knows how to throw a sick party Pros: sound system, lighting, Dj talent Cons: too many hot girls more

Bad Buisness Practice 9/15/2007

I am not happy with the service at pacha. My friends and I enjoyed the club up untill the bill came and they did not explane that we were charged an automatic gratuity of 20 percent. I left a 25% gratuity on top of the tip that they had added to the bill. This is not the way to do buisness. I am very unhappy with my experince. Pros: Friendly owner Cons: Gratuitys more

Awesome Club 9/5/2007

Pacha is the place to be right now if you like great music and love to dance. The place tends to fill up quick to make sure to be there early or face a line. The crowd there is usually in their 20 and beautiful although processionally you'll see some kids. Cool place overall. Pros: Great DJs beautifull staff more

Best Big-name DJs any place in New York 8/21/2007

I went to see my hero, Victor Calderone, at Pacha last Saturday, and it was amazing. This is the beginning of his residency since leaving Crobar, which has since closed, and I was starting to worry about the state of NY superclubs. I have been going out for some time and have seen a lot of places come and go, so it's great to see that Pacha is consistently booking the best talent, week after week, from Jonathan Peters to Boris. It guarantees there is always somethng fun to do on weekend nights. Even though the search at the door is intense, it HAS to be to ensure the club stays open! The girl that searched me had a great sense of humour about it, and believe me, that was not the case at the SF. For a night of big, NY-style clubbing, I most definitely recommend Pacha, which is why I have been there a lot this summer on the weekends I did not go away. For out of towners, realize that it gets really busy so to avoid the crazy line, get there before 11:30 on the big nights. They are really strict with IDs as well, but that hasn't affected me in a long time. The bartenders, cocktail girls and go-go dancers are smoking hot, some of the best looking I've ever seen in a club. If you love house music and its best djs, this is the place for you. Pros: DJs, sound system, beautiful staff more

couldn't stop smiling 8/21/2007

I had been hearing about Pacha from all my friends for so long but never had the chance to go. They advised me to get a table so that i would have access to the entire club and not have to wait in line. Thank God I did!!! I think everyone in New York wanted to be inside this club! The owners definitely knew that Pacha was going to be the "hott" spot to attend because they were actually pumping in extra air conditioning from trucks outside!!! Once I was inside I was escorted to an area overlooking the dancefloor, the DJ and the dancers!!! It was sick!!! Everyone was so nice and helpful with anything i needed. Can you believe the waitress poured my drinks for the entire night??? This is definitely a place to take people that you would like to impress. We had such a blast. Pros: beautiful people, friendly good looking staff, great music, service Cons: get there early more

Tired of reading reviews of "sheep" 8/15/2007

Listen up, first off. Fridays are 18+ with hiphop on 2nd floor and house on the main floor. Saturdays are 21+ and is usually a BIG NAME DJ spinning, so OF COURSE the 2nd floor is going to be house music. Most times they will have hiphop on the 3rd floor or in the basement for people who want to listen to that. tired of IDIOTS who dont know what they're talking about saying "this place is only good if you like "trance" " I laughed at that statement. Know who is DJing before you go there. Different DJs have Different crowds. Don't show up at 12-3am and expect to get right inside within 10 minutes or less. That's just dumb. That's like thinking youll get home during rush hour in 20 minutes. It aint happening. Dont trash a club if you are clueless. Pacha has the best bookings of DJs and is the best biggest room in NYC. They're doing great things to bring DJs here that havent been here. or don't come around often. and the $$$ issue...it's NYC, what do you expect. People need to eat. Stop thinking you're gunna go out and party for free... Pros: hot bartenders, great dj's (PICK YOUR DJ BEFORE YOU SHOW UP ON A SATURDAY!) Cons: when big name DJ is there, it can get hot if its hot outside! more

Pacha = $$$ 4/3/2007

I only drink (if you know what I mean) so I felt real out of place. A few of my friends really like this place but if you are drinking look to spend a minimum of $200. The line usually doesn't take long to get in. The women there are some of the most beautiful in N.Y.C. and boy can they flaunt it. However, most of them are wasted and they usually like the meathead type. Pros: Great Dancing, Beautiful Women and the best sound system Cons: Extremely Expensive, grimy crowd more

Horrible place, service is incredibly awful for NYC... 3/27/2007

If you like: Going through Airport-like security (plan 20 minutes after entering the club to get access to your table). Waiting for 45 minutes before seeing your bottle served at your table. Talking to 3 different waitress within 1 hour. And if your ID and Credit Card are not, finally, THAT important (I never got my ID & Credit card back. Pacha staff never replied to my emails). Then, you will LOVE Pacha Club. Pros: Electro Music? Cons: Everything else, especially service. more

Can depend on the night 12/22/2006

I had to write a response to what "eurobeauty" who said, "In regards to the crowd, it was a little too ethnic for my taste .." I think she strictly was looking forward to seeing eurotrash (for which, body odor seems to be plenty abundant). The trance and house is alright. We went to the top where they were playing hip-hop and that was much better, music and crowd. Door policy is a little haphazard and expect it to be a little unfriendly. And 'eurobeauty' darling, you're in NYC, not 1940's Germany. NYC is all about diversity. Please do go home, and spread the good word about showering and deodorant. Pros: Music was good (hip hop upstairs) Cons: Drinks are watered down. more

good music but not much else 12/16/2006

The lines here are longgg and it is not worth waiting on them .. the cover is a little steep for a club that is NOT worth it. We went inside .. luckily the place is large so the crowd is not squished together like sardines. In regards to the crowd, it was a little too ethnic for my taste .. I prefer when they actually turn people away at the door, it doesn't do to let everyone in. The one good thing was the music (perhaps we came on a good night?) because when I go to a club, I want to listen to house & techno, NOT rap & that other garbage they play on the radio. I'm sure this chain of clubs must be better in Europe, and I will have to find out. Otherwise, this club is alright for the younger crowd (it is 18+) but if you are 21+ or have a decent ID, you can find many better clubs in the city. Pros: music Cons: the crowd more

  • In Short
What began in Ibiza and blazed through 25 cities worldwide has finally surfaced in Manhattan. The four-floor maze of staircases--decked with palm trees, army-green tarp canopies and mosaic-mirror hand symbols to ward off evil--conjures a mystical temple in the tropics. Go-go girls in bikinis grind against each other in steamy red-lit showers, while clubbers get carnal beside a shattering sound system that blares beats from top international DJs--including part-owner Erick Morillo.
