The BEST! 9/16/2009

I just wanted to take a moment to recognize the efforts of a few of your employees. We used your services (for the second time) to move my family from a third floor apartment to our new home 6 miles away. A few of your employees, were the lucky guys that got to carry our furniture down three flights of stairs. They did so with great care and speed. A couple pieces were quite heavy, but your men took it in stride and got the job done. They loaded our three bedroom apartment into the truck and then into our new home in less than 3 1/2 hours. They treated our furniture as if it were their own and did not damage anything. They should be commended for their work ethic. It is nice to know that there are still companies out there that care about customers and live up to their advertisements. Pros: Careful, Quick, and Good Price! more

Efficient, professional and friendly! 9/8/2009

I just moved last weekend and I used Oz Moving and Storage and I have to say they were the best and most experienced moving company I have ever used. They were on time, efficient, careful, friendly and quick. Everything you could possibly want in a moving company. They really took the stress out of moving. Great movers 9/8/2009

I used the movers from Oz to move from my studio on the Upper West Side to Brooklyn recently and I was very pleased with their service and punctuality. They showed up on time and were fast and careful with moving my belongings. I will definitely use them again when I move in the future and would reccomend them to anyone looking for a professional moving company. Pros: Fast and reliable Cons: nothing more

Great mover 9/3/2009

After finding this mover on citysearch and reading the great reviews i decided to use Oz moving and Storage. They arrived on time and worked very quickly since i was paying by the hour. They even helped me with packing of some of the more fragile belongings. This was one of most pleasent moving experiences i have ever had. Thank you OZ Pros: Effecient and great prices more

Good beginning bad ending 6/24/2009

Promises unkept! TThe crew leader announced on their arrival THEIR tipping policy which was presented as part of the contract. It wasn't part of the contract and his arrogance cost him big money. Unfortunately my wife (no shrinking violet) dealt with him on her own. I probably would have fired him on the spot.\r A work to rule attitude.\r \r i would not recommend them.\r \r A promised carpentry visit the day before the move was changed from 10 to 1, then , 2 , then 3, then 3:30..I just got screwed around by people who raised my expectation of service. Great company! 1/26/2009

My brother recently hired this company to handle his girlfriend's move while she was away on vacation, which could have been extremely risky as she wasn't there to oversee things and my brother isn't so responsible, but putting the entire move in Oz' s hands was the best decision ever. They moved everything carefully and with no glitches so that when his girlfriend returned she walked into a finished situation rather than a nightmare. Now that they're married, she told me they're definitely using them again to move into their new home. Oz's not only protects your furniture, it protects relationships! more

Efficient and cost effective 10/7/2008

I used OZ for to move from Boston back to NY and they really did such a great job that I had to write a review. I was very concerned that they may damage my gorgeous bedroom set but they moved it perfectly without even a scratch. I also couldn't believe how efficient they were. They weren't even very expensive compared to other movers. My move was seamless! more

Of all the movers I have used over my time here in NYC, these are my faveorite. They make the move quick and easy and they always are careful with my goods. I will try to recomend these people to everyone. So far Oz has never let me down when it comes to moving. more

Did extra but didn't charge extra 10/3/2008

I had a local move within the City. They came and moved me from the third floor (stairs only - no elevator). They showed up on time, were pleasant, and actually moved weights (ie, pumping iron weights) without complaint. Didn't charge a dime extra. I was moving from Manhattan to Queens and Oz was the best! They moved everything carefully and made my moving expierence extremely less stressful. The prices are great and the movers where very nice and respectful. I recommend them to anyone who is moving!! more
