Pleasant experience 8/27/2010

I moved in August with OZ. The phone experience was straightforward and logical and I felt reassured by the sales person that I was in good hands. On moving day the crew arrived on time and the foreman walked through my apartment with me to check all the details he had in his notes and he gave me confidence. He was calm and softly spoken and all his crew spoke good English and understood what needed to be done. The move went much faster than I thought and everything was set up in the new apartment really quickly. Price wise it was in the middle of the other quotes I got. Would I use them again? Yes. All in all it was a nice surprise to meet a company that cared. more

THE REAL WIZARDS OF MOVING 8/26/2010

I must say, working with Oz was absolutely a pleasure and i would recommend them to everyone that i know. The first time i called Oz the sales rep. was so helpful and very pleasant, They went over in detail what the move would consist of and all of the wonderful services they offer. They answered all of my questions that i was unsure about with no problem, very fair and honest which was plus for me. I gave the rep. a list of items to be moved and they provided me with a very good price, being that i called in advance to my move date and the quote i received was right on the mark. On the moving day, the crew showed 9am sharp as i schedule with my rep, they were a wonderful crew that worked fast and efficient. They were so good i actually had a chance to rest my mind, being that moving is so stressful but they made it so easy and it was a great experience. There were no hidden charges being that the sales rep. was up front and honest with me from the begining. All of my items arrived safely at my new place where the crew place my furniture items in the appropiate rooms per my direction. I can go on and on about the great service i got from Oz, they definitley gave me peace of mind. Oz may not be the cheapest or most expensive but they are definitley the best around.....Go Oz Go ! more

Oz is the best!!!! 8/23/2010

Compared to the other moving companies I have used in the past, Oz is the best!!! I have moved within NYC about 4 times already and this is the only company that has not tried to rip me off! They were friendly, efficient and honest. They even gave me tips on how and what to pack and also suggested what days and times I should move on so I could save money and get the best deal (getting a new apartment in NYC is expensive enough). I highly recommend this company to anyone in need of a professional moving service. more

we just moved my cousin to a new apartment and used oz as her mover and they were awesome. everything was done perfectly and they were on time. we were done in one day with no worries. we had an easy going day and nothing was damaged. id suggest oz for anyone who wants their move done quickly and easily. more

This company is the worst!!! 7/22/2010

Do not use this company. They lost my boxes, damaged my furniture, scratched the floors, set the my bed incorrectly and they do no even acknowledge e-mail or letters!!!! Now I have to take them to court- they are a bunch of thieves- you will be sorry if you use them. Also started out taking about a 20% tip upon arrival- THE WORST- BEWARE!!!!!!!!! more

Oz is the worst moving company in the industry.I used them and regret it,They are a bunch of lazy and ignorant laborers that do not know how to move a checker piece much less your furniture! I was ripped off by these guys and you will too if you call them so do yourself a favor find a REAL moving company Oz IS NOT! more

Great Movers, Low Prices! 4/13/2010

Oz Moving & Storage did a terrific job helping me move, I was moving from Brooklyn to Manhattan and am car-less. Oz movers is the best moving company I have dealt with and helped me move everything from my bed to my bike. Great Professional Movers 3/2/2010

I recently moved over this past weekend and used Oz moving company for the first time. They made a very stressful time, less stressful. Their professionalism and attention to detail was very greatly appreciated. I was very anxious due to the recent snow storm and how that would have affected my move, that was not an issue for the movers who handled my furniture with care. I have moved a great deal in the past five years and I would have to say Oz is one of the best moving company I have utilized. thank you again. more

my credit score on the move-credit physician 2/16/2010

Top Mover I have ever used 12/9/2009

Oz Movers was amazing 11/23/2009

I used Oz movers recently when I moved from an apt with a roomate to by myself. Seeing as I didnt have a lot of help the movers really made my my life very easy. They were very quick with moving me from one location to the other. The movers that helped me were so nice and made the experience a lot better. Most movers arent this friendly either! Efficient Mover 11/10/2009

After searching for a mover, I came across Oz Moving and Storage. They seem to be one of the top movers in NYC based on the previous reviews that I've read. Since this was my 2nd move in 3 years I was very careful when choosing a mover. The foreman arrived on time and were very fast and careful. I would highly recommend them when choosing a mover. I can't believe I found a moving company on Citysearch. Moving is always a dreaded task but Oz Moving & Storage made my moving worries disappear in minutes upon arrival. Great Moving Company 10/30/2009

I never thought I would write a review for a moving company, but Oz really outdid themselves. My roommate and I were moving from an elevator building to a 2nd floor walk-up. I called Oz when I was price shopping and they immediately came in lower priced then most of the other people I spoke with. They assured me this would be quick and easy. The guys came on time as scheduled and wrapped all of my furniture in plastic to assure no damage. They quickly moved everything to the new walk up in no time. Oz Moving & Storage Inc is HORRIBLE 9/22/2009

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!! We recently moved from Queens to the East side with Oz Moving. The initial walk through with the salesman was pleasant and built up a lot of confidence. Then once the movers arrived we still felt confident. However, after about 3 hours of them packing our furniture (and after we gave them tons of good food and drink) they started acting completely unprofessional. It started out as an overall attitude, but it turned into much more. This long and drawn out nightmare of a move has too many details for here, but for your sake, I will bullet point a few of the occurrences. All of this was from one bedroom apartment to another. Not a big move! -They underestimated how much furniture we have--and therefore did not send enough movers. This made the move last until 1030PM!!!!!They started at 9:00AM!!!! -They scratched and ruined several of our most valuable pieces of furniture (to their credit they have a great carpenter who fixes the damage--but there shouldn't b more

I had to have a movers accomodate me spur of the moment during the busiest season for movers. I could not get anyone to help. I called Oz and it was a pleasure working with them start to finish.
