Sucks! 1/7/2009

I ordered my last meal at this Outback over the weekend. They never get it right and Outback in Dale City has gone downhill! They To Go food is ALWAYS ice cold. The portions are NEVER the same. Quality has seriously gone downhill. I'M DONE WITH OUTBACK! more

Outback Steakhouse has its pros and cons. 3/29/2006

I love the food at outback! The creamy onion soup is my favorite dish there, but they don't serve it everyday. They alternate it with their creamy potato soup, which is not quite as good. The steaks are always good quality and the garlic mashed potatoes are to die for! The problem is, the restaurant is much too small and sometimes there is a wait even on weeknights. There's no point in even trying to get in on a weekend without a reservation, or you will be waiting several hours. With their curbside takeaway, food is frequently not cooked to my specifications and one time I received a burnt steak when I ordered it "medium." Overall, excellent food, but the wait often leads me to choose other establishments. more

Poor Takeout Service 3/24/2006

We love Outback food. The restaurant is usually too busy to ever get a table so we had been doing takeout. Over the course of four months, we ordered three times. EVERY time the meat on my hamburger was undercooked. I'm not very picky, but when I ask for well done, I don't expect to see bright red meat in the burger. We've called management about this and talked to the staff when we order just to make sure it doesn't happen. After three attempts, we finally gave it up. I guess they just can't get it that well done means no red, juicy meat. Too bad too, because we like the food. more

Great Food, Hate the Wait 3/17/2006

I love Outback--the food, the service, the autmosphere. However, if you don't get there when it opens, you will wait. It seems like they never exactly know what their call ahead seating policy is, so even if you do this expect a wait. I would recommend getting the bloomin onion, delicious and enough for 4 or more people to share. The Outback Special is a great deal, and the Caesar salad is wonderful--great croutons! One thing I have noticed is that they tend to slightly overcook your steak, so I would suggest ordering it one degree of doneness below what you normally get and then it should be perfect! more
