Chulada has the worlds most magnificent tacos. They also make a bunch of tasty burritos. I started eating there 10-12 years ago. The reason--I walked in the restaurant to read the menu. Homey fragrance was the first thing to captivate me. Then I looked around and saw the place was spotless. I knew I had found a new favorite spot. The service is pretty good. But just remember a lot of them are youngsters, so just forgive them and enjoy your delectable grub. You will not be sorry at all. more

I had been reluctant to order from Chaluda because of reviews. Should have ordered from them sooner. Restaurant called to be sure they got my requests correct and delivery person was polite -- adding that he hoped I enjoyed my food. Good touch. more

Food is decent but it's way overpriced for what you get and the delivery times are always over an hour and this last time - some dude acting like a Mexican pimp with gold chains and rings driving some beat up Cadillac or Coup De Ville came sauntering out and I was standing close by and watched as he proceeded to ignore my written instructions and was about to disturb the front house (I live in the guest house) when it states clearly on the Order Sheet "DO NOT RING DOORBELL OR DISTURB FRONT HOUSE" - when I interceded and stopped him and asked him what the instruction sheet said, he started mumbling and making up shit "umm call and if no one answers ring the front doorbell" and then I snatched the sheet from him and showed him the ACTUAL directions and asked him if he really knew how to read - to which he then got combative and asked him if I was insulting him to which I replied, "I would never insult anyone who was unfortunate enough to be illiterate" - anyways, I'm never ordering from this whacked out place again. Only reason I was doing so today was because SKY'S TACOS - an INFINITELY BETTER PLACE WITH GREAT FOOD, GREAT PRICES AND SMART DELIVERY DRIVERS was not delivering today. I love this place. Sometimes the order can arrive a little over an hour later, which is bad, but when it does it never disappoints. The breakfast burritos always hit the spot. And so do the regular burritos. Definitely one of my favorite places on eat24hours. more

I was wholly disappointed. The delivery was slightly more than an hour, the portion was unbelievably small for the price; and although the black beans were a pleasant surprise and the rice was well prepared, the steak and enchilada (at least I think it was an enchilada) were as tough as shoe leather. I could have gotten a better meal at half the price had I gone to Del Taco. more

Food is decent although portions are small but the delivery is getting really bad. Last 2 times I've had to wait 1.5 hours for the food. If this keeps up I guess I'll have to find another place to provide breakfast burritos. more

I have suched mixed feelings about them. The enchiladas were ok. Abit too spicey it was warm not hot when it arrived. the chips and guac were more satisfying. After my order was delivered i realized they for got part of my meal and i had to call them again to have it delivered. The delivery guy came in my office the second time talking on a cell phone with a SAD looking flan, then trotted of on his merry way. ACK! more

We ordered two burritos and it took literally two hours to be delivered. When the food was delivered it was ice cold and the order was incorrect. When we called to ask for a refund, we were told they would not give us a refund and it would cost more to send the driver back to pick up our ice cold food. We were also hung up on twice in the process. In an effort to simply get a refund or redelivery of food in a calm manner, we were treated extremely poorly and the restaurant was trying to say it was our fault it took so long due to us ordering from eat24hours.com vs. calling them directly. I was appalled at the customer service and quality of food delivered. more

The food took forever, showed up cold, looked like it had been tipped over and spilled all over the inside of the bag, and an horchata I ordered never came. The food was just ok, not worth ordering again. more

Wow, First off delivery was pretty smooth. Although there was a kink from the online order to the restaurant, it still went cool. And my lil delivery man got kinda lost, but he got a nice tip anyways for having things neat and in order! The food was very delicious, I ordered the BIG 3 TACO special and the Special sauce chicken enchiladas and the chips salsa and guacamole. Man that sauce was bomb, I think it was like chipotle or something, but it was very delicious. The meat was very juicy too, not sure where the bad reviews came from.. eh The salsa and guacamole were very fresh as well, that is an indicator there, not the rice and beans.. the salsa... If the chips and salsa can pass the test... then they can make some other bomb food as well! lol I will definitely order from here again. I spent around $32.00 which I have spent waaaaay more for restaurant delivery with great quality and service... Thanks The Original Chulada more

This place is absolutely wonderful. The service is excellent and you can tell they really take pride in their food by their careful preparation of fresh ingredients. I go here every few weeks and am never disappointed. I have only had their burritos (because they are just that good) and their special chulada sauce on the deluxe versions are hard to pass up.
