Oliver?s Twist is my new favourite. The staff is friendly and quick, as well as very knowledgeable about their menu. The menu itself is a work of art, the tapas are inexpensive at $4-10 with lots of choices. I loved the bleu cheese-bacon stuffed dates, while my friend enjoyed the tomato cappuccino with a mini grilled cheese sandwich and we both thought the garlic truffled popcorn to be the best popcorn we ever had. The cocktail list is extensive and equally original, a perfect match for the food. The Mr. Sowerberry was my drink of choice (Gin, elderflower syrup, grapefruit) and my friend went in for the Rose Maylie (blood-orange bitters, tuaca), both were marvelous. The space is perfect for almost any get-together, dark corner booths perfect for a good size group or an intimate night out, as well as lots of tables near the bar. We sat near the bar and got to talk to the staff and the chef most of the night. Overall a nice addition to the Phinney neighborhood, and I?ll be bringing many more people in to sample the full range of the menu. Highly Recommended
Pros: Artful menu both cocktails and food, great service, nice ambience
Cons: A little hard to find, look on the east side of Phinney between 68th & 70th (hint: foggy windows)
