Fixed my TMJ!! 12/6/2011

I have had TMJ with major jaw discomfort for 10 years. I wasn't aware that there was actually a remedy for this. So tired of dealing with it, and needing to go to the dentist, I did some googling and found out that seeing a chiropractor may help the condition. Dr Markos was amazing. I went in there with a clicking uncomfortable jaw that I had suffered with for years, and she was able to fix it in one session. I will be going for follow up- but I was amazed that in less than an hour, I could open my mouth with no clicking and no discomfort thanks to Dr Markos. Amazing and I highly recommend. more

Relief from pain! 7/29/2011

After waiting 3 months and being in agony and pain due to back, I finally searched for a chiropractor close by in North City. The first visit with Dr. Markos was wonderful! The source of my pain originated from a particular exercise that I performed at the health club. I truly did not think going to the chiropractor would resolve the issue, but the pain was intense most often I simply had to go. To my astonishment, Dr. Markos went above and beyond and actually helped my shoulders, hips and knees - all of which I never anticipated!!! Each and ever visit brings such refreshing relief and my back has improved so dramatically. I am so excited to recommend Dr. Markos to all that I come in contact with! more

Seriously!! Most Amazing Chiropractor EVER!! 5/29/2011

Dr. Marcos is the most amazing chiropractor of all time. I popped my back out of place and could not stand up straight....that was the first time. With zero x-ray or drawn out BS this woman listens and heals. On one of my enjoyable visits I thought to ask Dr.Marcos if there was any way she could look at my ankle since the patient before me was talking about how great her shoulder felt when she left. I had sprained my ankle so many time since the age of 10 that I ended up having surgery to fix my ligaments. Since the surgery I wasn't able to move it correctly and I was always in pain. Dr. Marcos adjusted my ankle and the pain was gone. 12 years of aching GONE IN ONE SECOND. I literally cried the whole way home! I have recommended her to my family and friends. She is truly an asset to the world and anyone lucky enough to be healed by Dr. Marcos is blessed! more

Miracle Worker 3/28/2011

Had the good fortune to meet Dr. Marcos over 15 years ago now and if I cited all the true miracles she has manifested for me and my family, I would sound like a crackpot. But the truth is, she is a gifted healer and a superb doctor and uses both her intuition and her medical skills to make a quantifiable difference in your health. I suffered from many allergies and who thought that chiropractic adjustments would alleviate my distress. She has helped with near crippling injuries and avoided surgery for my husband. She has helped align my children and other family members toward better health. There is no greater praise than recommending her with absolute certainty that whoever she touches will be helped. more

Worth driving for... 1/18/2011

I've seen Dr. Markos for almost a decade. I live in Mukilteo and drive to see her because she is the best Chiropractor I've ever been to. Yes, as the previous person posted she examines other areas that you aren't concerned with, but she knows what she is doing and intuitively ""fixes"" you. You don't even have to tell her where you are hurting... She knows. And yes, sometimes you have to wait to see her because she takes her time with each patient and makes sure they are well. I'd be concerned if she wasn't in demand. I have referred many friends and clients to her over the years and will continue to do so with total confidence! more

The best Chiro in WA 11/11/2010

I met Dr Markos because of my lower back. I thought that it was going to take me a long time to get better but after the third session I was able to sleep, walk, and hold my son like nothing had happen. I recommend Dr. Markos 100%. She cares about her patients, knows where the pain comes from, and helps you get and feel better. more

Go See Dr. Markos! 11/3/2010

I suffered a minor shoulder dislocation that had been bothering me 4-5 weeks before I went to see Dr. Markos. There was literally instant improvement after Dr. Markos worked on my shoulder. Subsequent appointments have shown just how skilled Dr. Markos is in diagnosing injuries and reducing pain. I highly recommend Dr. Markos to anyone with chiropractic needs! more

A long overdue rave 7/9/2010

I began seeing Dr. Markos after I was rear ended in a car accident. I have neck and shoulder pain, though it is sooo much better after seeing Dr. Markos. She truly has a gift. My son said it well at Thanksgiving as we were discussing what we had to be thankful for. ""You must be thankful for your chiropractor!"" Indeed I was, and still am. I have made great progress since the accident. I have been meaning to write a review for awhile now. If you are looking for a great chiropractor, look no further! Phenomenal Chiropractic Care 5/24/2010

After my consultation, Dr. Markos of North City Chiropractic Health Clinic knew exactly what needed to be done to eliminate the pain in my foot, that no one else could figure out. I was referred to Dr. Markos by a massage therapist who had seen her in the past. Even though I live in Bellevue, the drive to Shoreline is well worth it. I have shown remarkable improvement with only five visits to her clinic; I have never felt better. The clinic is very quaint and friendly. The receptionist is exceptionally organized, accommodates schedules and always greets you with a smile. I can't express how wonderful Dr. Markos and her staff are. She is very thorough in getting to know all the details of your condition before starting a treatment plan. I feel very comfortable and confident in her care and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to others! Pros: Friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. more

Outstanding Chiropractic Care 4/25/2010

Dr. Markos, of North City Chiropractic, gave me renewed hope that I wouldn't have to just ""live with the pain"" for the rest of my life! I began having back pain following an auto accident approx. 8 months ago. I was in constant pain, and sought medical care from a chiropractor in my neighborhood; before seeing Dr. Markos. My initial chiropractor was very forceful in his adjustments, not interested in any feedback from me, and defensive when I expressed concern about my lack of improvement. After about 25 visits (far too many) I decided to move on. Fortunately, I found Dr. Markos. She was an amazing contrast to the treatment I had been getting. She spent over an hour with me during the initial visit - assessing my history and current complaints. Her adjustments are gentle and after several visits I now know I can trust her. I was guarded at first because of the treatment I received from the first chiropractor. I noticed improvement after the first visit, and continue to get better with each visit. I am now starting to engage in gardening, bicycling, and walking again. I know it will take some time for me to get back to where I was before the accident; but with Dr. Markos help I know I'll get there. If you are having back pain, I highly recommend Dr. Markos. She'll get you back on the road to wellness! Pros: Really cares about her patients and is very professional Cons: none that I know of. more

Exceptional care 3/1/2010

I have been seeing Dr. Markos for about 10 months for issues related to my sacroilliac joint and she has made a tremendous difference for me in that amount of time. I had been seeing another chiropractor (who shall remain nameless but to whom I wouldn't refer my worst enemy!) who I now believe was making my condition worse. When I questioned his treatments and why I was getting worse, he treated me very condescendingly. I knew it was time to find a new chiropractor! more

I'M A BELIEVER 2/7/2010

I never thought after 5 major back surgeries, 2 steel rods, 4 steel screws, insertion of a cadaver disk, 16 pins, a chiropractor would ever be able to help me with my chronic back pain. Boy was I wrong. Years after trying to manage my chronic back pain with prescription drugs and surgeries I finally found relief. I have been able to stop taking prescription drugs and start a exercise routine thanks to Dr. Markos. Now I'm a believer. Pros: Pain gone Cons: Nothing more

Dr. Cheri Markos is the best! 11/17/2009

I was referred to Dr. Cheri Markos and have since been going to her and only her! She gives individual treatment, not just the same adjustments to everyone. She knows my body and treats what needs to be treated. She is extremely insightful and observant, very well educated and a pleasure. Great find through word of mouth 10/16/2009

I'm lucky to be her patient. 3/25/2009

I sought out chiropractic care as a last resort to treat a back injury over a year ago. Today, I recommend chiropractic care to everyone I know! Dr. Markos is hands-down the best care provider I've ever had. She is attentive, intelligent, down to earth and intuitive. I feel like she understands me and my body- I wish all doctors were like her! I experienced immediate pain relief after my first adjustment, and with each adjustment I've become a healthier (and happier) person. The best chiropractor ever found 3/16/2009

While I was originally skeptical about chiropractic in general, I am sold on Dr. Cheri Marcos. She is excellent. She is skilled, knowlegable, insightful and caring. She seems to know exactly what to do for a variety of problems, some that I didn't think chiropractic could address.
