I've seen it busy many times and thought to try but the result is always the same, not what I would ever call good Italian. more

Pretty good food considering it is being prepared in plain sight by a few Guatamalens. Not exactly authentic more

This is a good Italian Restaurant. The atmosphere is pleasing with piped in Rat Pack type music. We got there at 4pm (while travelling up from Hollywood back to Leesburg). Unfortunately, they did not open until 4:30 as we were told by the gentleman at the door. We decided to wait in the car until then. Shortly after that, the same gentleman came out to our car and invited us in to wait in the bar until they started serving. I thought this was very nice and good customer service. While at the bar, we had cappucino's which were very good.\r \r After being seated, the waitress brought us a bag of fresh baked, warm Italian bread with warm roasted whole garlic in olive oil that is used instead of butter. It was delicious!\r \r We started out with salads. Just FYI, my wedge salad was a bit lean. The wedge was only a few leafs and very small. It was not what I was expecting, but it tasted fine.\r \r For dinner, my husband ordered a pizza with his own special toppings and I had the Parmigiana Combo consisting of veal, eggplant and chicken parmigiana that was served with a side of penne pasta marinara.\r \r Our food was delicious, but our meals did not come to our table at the same time. The pizza came a few minutes after my dinner was served.\r \r We have no complaints about our service or the taste of our food. The female bartender and our waitress were very good and hospitable.\r \r The food is very close to what I consider authentic Italian food. I am Italian and Jewish and grew up eating real Italian food in Brooklyn. These people do a very good job using real cheeses and seasonings. more

Not impressed. It all seemed very processed and not at all real Italian. To be fair though, we just moved from New England where we got used to authentic Italian cuisine. Probably won't go back. more

We have been eating there since we moved here in 2002. We order from there at least once a month. more like every other week and get take out. we are the ones who always order the chicken marsala with the extra mushroom( for my kids) just so he knows I am telling the truth. About a year ago, I ate a piece of glass in my salad and cut my mouth. To be specific, there was an actual handle from a coffee mug in my salad and little broken of shavings from it got into my mouth. The handle was huge, don't know how they missed it. They also said they didn't have mugs like that so must have been from one of the chef's coffee mugs. I forgave them because they were pretty decent about it and continued to eat there. My husband and entire family eat their parmasean meals all the time. BOth of our parents and many a friend have joined us there for dinner. Tonight the chicken and the cheese were ALOT browner. My husband asked them to remake it and the waitress said "No they would only take the cheese off and melt new cheese." He told them then he didn't want it. She then came back put the same food back in front of him and said "Nick said, you have to eat it and it's not burnt!!" I had not had my food yet either which was also very browned and crispy. My husband went to the front and said since he could not eat, he would like to pay for the kids meal and the one cosmo I had time to finish. Nick got in our faces and started screaming " that it was not burnt and said we should eat the olive garden from now on. he also said if we did not pay for all the food, he was going to call the police." He wa very scary and we felt attacked. So we called the police ourselves and when he told his side of the story, he said was dishonest and said he would of remade it no problem. This was all in front of my 3 1/2 and 1 1/2 year old. What a scary experience for them to be bullied by someone in a restaurant. We will NEVER set foot anywhere near there again and do our best to make sure that no one ever has to have the same experience we did. Furthermore, he still made us pay for everything!! We are contacting the bank Monday and also an attorney to find out our rights. more

Nick's is by far the best Italian restaurant around. Once you have had Nick's it is hard to find another Italian restaurant that comes close. Try their classic entrees to give them a fair review. Their pizza is OK, but their parmesan and pasta dishes are all excellent. more

The food was ok (actually, the gnocchi was really delicious), but I will not be back. The host was nothing if not snotty and rude. I got the impression that you had to first prove yourself as regular costumer before you received decent service from the host. more

I cannot believe that people like this place. I tried their pizza several years ago figuring it must be good. I got their tomato pie and it was horrible. I think I ate a half a piece and threw the rest away. Totally not cooked enough and the tomatoes made it soggy. Blah. I always rave about the calamari at Samantha's in Jupiter to people and I have had a couple of people tell me the calamari at Nicks is good too, so I figured I would give it another try. A friend and I stopped in for a cocktail and the calamari at the bar. There were two bartenders, an older guy and a woman. The guy acted like he could barely be bothered waiting on us. The woman was decent. Anyway, the calamari was so not worth the trip. It's def not the worst I've ever had, but definitely not worth sending someone there for. I will give them this, it was actually cooked to perfection, nice and hot and crispy. But absolutely NO,,,,and I mean NO FLAVOR whatsoever! I doused it in lemon and salt and pepper and it was still like eating fried flour with salt & pepper and lemon on it. I thought about sucking it up and not saying anything, but Mr. Personality came sauntering by and asked "how is it" and I decided to tell him how it was, BLAND! He took it away and I was glad I didn't end up wasting my 9 bucks. That was definitely the last time I give that place a chance. more

Fabulous food. Try the penne alla vodka or the gnocchi. Both are favorite dishes. I love the house salad and dressing (gratis with your entree). Love the warm bread with freshly baked garlic and help yourself olive oil. Awesome date night restaurant or family style. Expect to wait weekends and peak times always worth it. more

We've been going to Nick's for more than 10 years and can honestly say we have NOT had a bad experience. The hot bread and fresh roasted garlic start your taste buds moving. A bottle on wine on each table and it's the honor system on how many glasses (I fill to the brim). Varied menu, outstanding food and large portions make Nick's a good value for your money. Italian themed main room, but a more quiet room in the back. Worth a visit! more

Great bread.. the garlic spread was very good. The salads were pretty good too. I ordered shrimp scampi and it was pretty tasty. Everything that everyone ordered at my table looked delicious. Desert was terrific. Our waitress was terrible though. After we sat down it took her 15 minutes for her to come over to take our order. Numerous tables around us that got there after us had already starting munching on their appetizers. We had to remind her about refills on our drinks numerous times. I would definitely come back again as long as we had a different server. more

Nick's is always good! The menu is outstanding offering something for everyone. It's a fun restaurant to go to and I often bring visiting family to Nick's. I love the combo Italiano, the gorgonzola salad, the seafood dishes are outstanding--everything from the appitizers, soup, salads, dinner entrees right down to dessert is great food and worth the price. If you haven't been here, go, you will not be disappointed. more
