They didn't show on time. Told me the job would be done by the end of the day but it wasn't. It then took them 2 solid additional days over the course of 2 weeks to complete the work. That part I can almost tolerate. The part I can NOT tolerate is that in the process, they took our chainsaw. We were told that they needed to cut some large limbs they had put in their truck that weren't fitting. So they grabbed our chainsaw and left it in the back of the truck which was then dumped. It's been over a month and we still haven't had our chainsaw replaced. Very unprofessional in not responding to multiple phone calls. Also, they cashed our check after day one and hadn't finished the job yet. I suppose we got lucky they actually finished their work. \r One last point that creeped me out from the beginning is that the crew manager continuously attempted to get me to hire his crew for cheaper on the side and "not say anything to the boss." so, look out, Dan. We had Nick's install a sprinkler system and they did a good job--so we hired them to maintain the yard of a rental house we own. That turned out to be a big mistake. I authorized 6 hours of clean-up, was told it took 9 hours, then was billed for 11 hours. I stupidly paid it and attached a note to the bill asking what was up. Never heard a word about it. This summer I think they mowed the lawn TWICE and they were supposed to be there twice each month. They never showed up in September at all, and we were out of town so couldn't check up on them. Found out from angry tenants--which are not the best kind of tenants to have. Nick's is fired. I would not recommend them to anyone. more

We contacted Nick's Eastside Landscaping to do a clean-up of our backyard because we were having a party and there were more weeds in the flower beds than we had time to do the job ourselves. They did not show up on the day they said they were coming. When I called about it, they told me another job took longer than expected and they would be there the next day. They did come the next day and did a beautiful job, no weeds, the lawn was trimmed and everything was cleaned up. \r \r We also had a billing issue with them, and in the end, they owed us money and have been promising to send a check for two weeks now. It is still not resolved. They now claim they don't have our address. I don't find that plausible, since they did the job at our house and were able to mail us the bill in the first place.\r \r I have no issue with the quality of work performed, they did do a great job. However, all these other little headaches that have gone along with doing business with them makes it not w more
