This little hole in the wall becomes a living piece of history on tuesday nights when Chicago jazz legend Von Freeman takes the stage. The atmosphere is truly ""authentic"", in that it's like jazz clubs used to be over 60-70 years ago: Smokey, People talking, laughing, drinking, there's a jam session that starts at about 1AM and anybody might show up, and of course Vonski, celebrating 80 years this fall, plays like a man several decades younger. Come check this place out on the next tuesday night you're free!
Pros: Authentic jazz feel, Unpretentious
Cons: Neighborhood, Street Parking Only
