I was very worried about moving because I had some very fragile and expensive speakers and amplifiers but Neighbors Moving were fantastic. On time, very fast, the 3 great movers they sent me were extremely careful with my stuff.I highly recommend this moving company. It could have been a much more exhausting and time consuming job that it actually was due to some rain and humidity we faced, but the guys were awesome about it, really professional and accountable did everything with a nice attitude and confidence. I wish all moving experiences could emulate what happened in this one. I asked for free quotes over the internet. Over the next days several companies started calling desperate to get my business. They would offer to lower rates according to what other companies had offered. I thought how can they do that?, and how does that affect their overall service?, Will they pay less money to the moving crew perhaps, or is just that they just over price everything so they can bargain with you? Anyway they all gave me a bad feeling in general. I decided to trust one of my friends who had hired Neighbors Moving in Denver last year. I called, and told them about this other quotes I?d had. They wouldn?t behave in the same sneaky manner as the others did. They explained in detail, instead, the price of each operation, and the reasons behind each cost. They told me about extra fees, and unexpected expenses, and recommended ways on how to avoid those extra charges. Then the service was great; they arrived a little early but the guys wouldn?t charge any extra fees or leave early; they were honest and hard working all the way through; my family and I are thankful, and would like to recommend this company to anyone out there looking for good service and fair price. more

My move to Denver was easy. I hired Neighbors through a family friend and was happy with the outcome of this move. The movers arrived on time to load my things, they were working very hard and wrapped all my large furniture in moving pads. After they were done, the packaging looked professional, defiantly not something that I could do myself. The delivery took place within 8 days, which was ok as they did advise me that it could take that long so I was prepared and had with me everything I needed to use in this period of time. Everybody who I came in contact with from Neighbors were very nice and professional, all my belongings were accounted for and in good condition. more

THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I have never used a moving company before and now I know why. Over $600 dollars more than I was quoted, scratched and broken items, a lying and threatening ""manager"" on the phone in another state. The movers showed up in a Neighbors truck but they were wearing another companys name on their shirts!!! SKETCHY!!Do not use Neigbors Moving becuase you have no idea who you are really working with!! BUT the movers were VERY VERY courteous! The only good thing about this company! more

went ahead with Father & Son Moving company because they have competitive prices and I had a bad experience with another company in Denver. We were quoted a great price for a small move and storage, and given an arrival time of 1:30. After numerous calls and several promises by the company that the crew would be coming, they showed up at 6:30. While the crew moved the stuff pretty quickly, they packed a few things in their own boxes without informing us of the price and come to find out later, they charged us $125 for two boxes and a roll of tape. The head of the crew told us that they would really help us out on pricing because they were so late, and that he would run the credit card after they had unloaded the truck at around 10:30. The next morning we get a phone call informing us that our stuff was now being held by them and would be auctioned off in 10 days because they tried to run the credit card at 1:30 in the morning for nearly $600 (our original quote was $285) and my bank put a fraud hold on the charge and would not let it go through because it was such a large sum of money at a crazy time of the night. They were unwilling to explain how or why they had charged so much, but said we had 10 days to pay the full amount in cash or our stuff would be gone. To anyone looking to move, do NOT use this company. As if moving isn't stressful and expensive enough, you do not need all of the stress and surprises this company has to offer. more

This is probably the worst business transaction I have ever experienced. They promised an hourly rate to move my piano with certified piano movers. It ended up being about twice the price (almost 500 dollars) that was promised initially. Neighbors changed the time they were going to show up numerous times, the movers got lost about 7-8 times (I had to direct them over the phone, and they even got lost multiple times after that). The movers were clearly not knowledgable piano movers. They banged up the piano, and damaged both houses, and took much longer by getting lost and not knowing HOW to move piano, as I was paying by the hour. When I tried to talk to the manager he hung up, and had absolutely NO intention of resolving the matter. If this is how they do business, I'm surprised they're still working. I have NEVER written a negative view like this, this company truly has the award for the most malicious, unethical and fraudulent group of people I have encountered in a long time! Spread the word, stay away from Neighbors moving unless you want to get jacked, lied to and your furniture destroyed! more
