Aside from the possibility of hidden structural, safety and mechanical defects, many states have strict laws regarding registration of such vehicles, including tough safety inspection requirements. Lastly, do not purchase a vehicle from Nash without a written contract requiring him to timely provide you with all appropriate title and registration documentation. In Jan '10, Nash sold a truck he described as a ""great truck,"" while failing to disclose its ""salvage title"" status and many problems he knew of; he refuses to provide the buyers ANY paperwork necessary to register the vehicle in Washington State, rendering the truck undriveable.
