Upscale Chocolate Shop 6/16/2006

I was dissapointed when their other store in Park Ridge closed. This one is pretty much the same. It is a nice place to chill for a hour or so with your chocolate treat some hot coffee or hot chocolate. It is a classy place and a very good environment for an informal business meeting with a client as well. The location is also ideal for when you just need a break from all hustle and bustle of downtown. Keep in mind the chocolates are rather pricey. more

Attention Chocolate Lovers 10/7/2005

I first encountered Moonstruck Chocolates a couple of years ago in Portland, OR, and was pleasantly surprised when they opened up in Chicago. Their chocolate truffles are absolutely amazing, and not only that, but there is a aesthetic to both the chocolate and the atmosphere of the café that is absolutely enticing. In addition to their fabulous truffles (which, might I add, make excellent gifts), Moonstruck also has excellent desserts and coffees. If you are in the area, stop by and try a truffle or two (or three, or four ...). If you love chocolate, you will love Moonstruck. more

Coffee Done Right! 7/12/2005

I happened upon Moonstruck by accident. I am a coffee lover and needed a good cup after shopping. I ordered a Mexican Mocha and immediately fell in love. The flavors of the coffee mixed with their mexican cocoa are truly amazing. They also have a dessert and chocolate section that is mouth watering. I haven't tried all the drinks and chocolates (yet) but every one of them that I've tried are exceptional. more
