I used MobileCaller a couple times to call Israel. It seemed to work ok. I then recharged my account $20 but was never able to connect. It would not accept the access number that was sent the previous day to me via email. When I called their support line, the lady had no idea why the access number was not working. I also noticed my balance decreasing weekly. This is because they have a weekly maintenance fee that I was unaware of. I'm very disappointed. I feel cheated and have to guess that this is just another business that will will do anything it can to maximize profits by essentially stealing from its customers (even it they disclosed these fees somewhere at the end of the fine print). I had them refund the remainder of my account balance and am closing my account with them to never again do business with them. Again, very disappointed. more

I have been using mobilecaller.com for several years, averaging between $40-60 per month. what some people do not take into account is that the cheaper plans have 3 minute rounding, and the cheaper plans have weekly maintenance fees. All of which will reduce your time available. I have kept track of my minutes from time to time, and find that the accounting seems to be fair and accurate. If you tend to talk a long time, then buy the cheaper plans with 3 minute rounding (which is what I buy), if you tend to make lots of short length calls, then buy the plan with 1 minute rounding. Avoid the 1 second rounding plan, as it will NOT save you money even though it sounds good. Hope this has helped....... more

I started using mobilecaller,com to call Tanzania and it seemed great. A lot cheaper than I could have found elsewhere. They tell you how much money is on your account and then after you dial the number, they will tell you how many minutes you have left. It said i had 150 minutes left and I talked on the phone for a half hour. Then the next time I should have 120 minutes left, right? WRONG! I only had 70 minutes left. No one can tell me what is happening, but I am not getting what I am paying for. DON"T USE THIS WEBSITE!!! more

I just started using mobilecaller.com to call Turkey. I use the card every day, but it seemed to me that I was recharging my card too often, so I started tracking the minutes and the amount deducted from my account. Well I came to find out that they were overcharging me for EVERY call by $1-$3 per call! Every time I used the card I would have to call back and request a credit. Today I called because they charged me an extra $3.54 and they refused to credit me the money because they had credited me the maximum amount of $20. THEY'RE ROBBERS! STAY AWAY!!!!! more

You find a calling plan to where you call the most, subscribe to it, and pay by credit card. They give you the credit in your account. Well, everything sounds great - but MOBILE CALLER is terrible! I have a sister in the Peace Corps. Other family use Mobile Caller and they recommended it to me. I found the rate to call my sister was SUPER CHEAP! Just pennies per minute! How great! No service charges, no round up fee, no connection fees. After using this service for several months, it seemed that my monetary credits were simply disappearing! When I looked into it, my "PLAN" had INCREASED to about 30 cents a MINUTE! Well, no one told me! I suddenly had a service fee and they were rounding up every phone call 3 minutes. I was being charged even when I didn't connect. None of this was brought to my attention and NONE of it was listed on the website - not even in the fine print. When I called Customer Service to complain, they really weren't able to help me. The gal was very nice. She simply said that things were mixed up and I needed to contact their TECH SUPPORT - ie India. The woman from India told me that I was on the line too long with my complaint and she would need to hang up because she had other calls to take. UGHHHH! BEWARE and DON'T use MOBILE CALLER!~ NEGATIVE STARS!!!!! It's a scam! more
