Extremely expensive!!. Invoice not given to the customer until asked for. E-mail containing charges was not provided. It wasn't until I asked, the co. did not request my e-mail address when job was initiated. I called for a hard copy. Questionable expense, such as additional assistance and service charge TWICE for a total of $332.00, (I strongly suggest this be returned to me) or the specifics be explained. Lots of down time waiting for inspections, (perhaps better coordination with County officials! All in all the job was well done. However invoices should be more explicit and in a form that a layperson can understand. Extra charges should and must be kept at a minimum given that the cost is already pretty exorbitant!! more

Way too expensive 3/17/2016

The work is good but way overpriced. After Mike Counsil did their work, we had another emergency plumbing issue & called another plumber. His rate was about 1/3 less & his work was just as good. more

Repipe 3/17/2016

Josh and Ethan are doing the repipe for our old house. They are doing an amazing job! Very professional, thorough, meticulous, clean, and in one word - AMAZING!!!!! We are so pleased with their attention to detail, customer service, being on time when they say they will be at our house every day. Absolutely the BEST! more

Professional and pleasant 3/14/2016

Have used MCP several times over the years and each time they live up to our expectations. It all starts with the receptionist who answers the phone. I have requested Shane, but I'm sure they are all good. No surprises as they let you know the work involved and the cost before you commit to anything. They are on time or inform you of a delay. Trust is a big factor for us and from our experience they are trustworthy. more

Professional and courteous and to the Point! 3/13/2016

Shawn, M. Counsil's technician, was professional and gave various options as to the nature of my sewer problem. He was very courteous and did the best he can, based upon my problem clogged sewer line. This was my first time using Mike Counsil's services; it won't be the last! more

Great work 3/12/2016

Had a laundry drain with roof vent installed along with safety shutoff valves for water heater and dryer. City inspector approved , no problems. The guys did a quality job in a reasonable amount of time. I will use their services again for any future plumbing projects. more

Exceptional service 3/6/2016

Service performed was an annual inspection through Diamond Club by Josh Gibson, who, as always, arrived right on time. Josh is friendly, thorough, explains things well, and follows through. He even pulled in my garbage cans and swept the garage when he was done! I appreciate that he explains when something is worth purchasing now or not. more

fast service but didn't complete repair & way too costly 3/5/2016

Service person presented my wife with an estimate of over $500.00 for repairing leak in bathroom sink drain. She signed it since we had company coming and I was away from the house. Repair was a new Ptrap and teflon to stop the leak. Repair time was about 30minutes. I understand the site visit charge of $89.00 has to be there but think the final charge very excessive for the work. I did receive a call from your office and a supervisor gave us a discount of 11% and a coupon for $80 which brought the total down to about $400.00. My feeling is the total charge including the site visit should have been no more than about $250.00??? Also another repair person had to come back out to fix the sink stopper which was frozen shut. Overall not very satisfied! We are diamond members who just signed up last year after your company installed a water heater for us. That experience was very satisfactory. more

Mike Counsil Plumbing Exceptional Quality & Service 2/25/2016

I've been using Mike Counsil Plumbing for about 10 years now. And they are the only plumber I will use. I cannot say enough about the exceptional quality of their work and their great care for customer service. Over the years they have pretty much re-plumbed my entire house and the sewer line as well as installing a Pulse water filtration system. I always know that once they do a job that I never have to worry about having any problems. I've worked with many different technicians over the years and they have always been very professional, courteous, and respectful of me and my home. I highly recommend Mike Counsil Plumbing. Whenever asked if I can recommend a plumber I always refer them to MCP. more
