med stay was good and easy to deal with, however the hotel was being remodeled and I would not of stayed if I had been informed of this

My wife had to go to Duke University for treatment. I have never been in Raleigh/Durham and the last thing at that point was dealing with getting a hotel room. I was referred by Duke to Medstay. Got on the phone with Sam told him my needs. We stayed at and excellent hotel at a great price.We have gone back to Duke a couple of times since then, I call Medstay and it's done! It's just great to have this kind of service when you have so much on your plate. Thank you Medstay!!!!! more

My daughter is awaiting a double lung transplant at Duke. The honest attention and concern for our comfort and safety along with our need to stay within a specific budget was pivotal to our relocation. They made it easy. We leave on Friday January 27,2011 anticipating a trouble-free relocation from Charleston. more

VERY CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE. MORE UTENTIALS SUCH AS PIZZA CUTTER AT THE VERY LEAST. ALSO PERHAPS OFFERING SOME ITEMS AT THE FRONT DESK TO PURCHASE FOR THE STAY WOULD BE HELPFUL. OR SEND OUT A NOTE TO THE PERSON THAT IS STAYING AHEAD OF TIME TO LET THEM NOW WHAT THEY MIGHT NEED TO GET. ALTHOUGH WE NEVER HAVE A CAR THERE SO IT IS NOT EASY TO GET TO THE STORY FOR THINGS. EVEN COFFEE FOR SALE WOULD BE NICE. ACCOMIDATIONS TO THE HOSPITAL OR CLINIC IS VERY NICE, BUT SOMETIMES THOSE MORE "RUNNERS" ARE OVER BOOKED. PEOPLE WHO BOOK THE DATES ARE WONDERFUL AND UNDERSTANDING. more

Excellent Experience 1/26/2012

Medstay got us to the Washington Duke Inn in Durham. Our first stay was a lengthy one, and this facility was top knotch and made this visit so much easier on my husband, the patient, and me and friends...the caregivers. We think Medstay provides a terrific service. Visits down to Durham will continue to be a part of our future.....and we will always work through Medstay. more

We have used Med-Stay since my father's first visit to Duke University Hospital. Thankfully, it has been rather effortless and the hotels have always been located in safe areas - very important for those of us who are unfamiliar with everything except for the hospital. All of the staff that we have dealt with on the phone have been very helpful and have answered our questions. The hotel staff have been helpful and have been very nice, as well. more

We have worked with MedStay for over a year now with the need to schedule a hotel in Durham for my husbands medical visits to Duke. We can always rely on MedStay to help us book our rooms perfectly. Friendly personal make you feel as if you are more of a friend than a customer. I have recommended MedStay to others that need to visit the Durham area for medical reasons. When you are dealing with the heavy situtaion of medical issues, you need to know that a service like this one will help you along the way. Excellent! more

I thought the process of reserving a hotel on short notice was easy with your website. It allowed me to call directly from the website on my cell phone. Your customer service rep directed me to an alternate hotel that was brand new when my first choice was taken. I wouldn't have found that hotel on my own. The price was reasonable, the hotel staff was friendly, and it was close to the clinics at Duke. I always use Medstay to make my reservations when I go to Duke...it makes my life so much easier. When you are a patient undergoing cancer treatment, you need all the help you can get. Thank you! more

So fast and easy 1/25/2012

The first trip I made to Duke I made my own reservations and was going from one website to another trying to find the type of room I wanted. The second trip I used MedStay - they found just what I wanted and sent me a confirmation in a very short time - only minutes. I had to made a change before I made the trip and they handled that for me too. Extremely polite and efficient - great service. I would definitely recommend this service to anyone having to make a medical trip to the area. more
