med stay was good and easy to deal with, however the hotel was being remodeled and I would not of stayed if I had been informed of this

Medical lodging assistance 2/17/2011

I used Medstay.com to book/assist in locating lodging for my family and myself for my operation. This is a free service definitely worth your time! In fact Sam Henry(the owner) does all the rate comparison and gets you into the best place for your needs. This is a lifesaver when you're trying to gather/plan everything else for your operation. He is based in the Durham area so he knows the area and periodically does site visits to ensure that the sites are safe both physically and environmentally. This extremely important when you are immunocompromised. All in all, great experience with Medstay and I look forward to using their services again for followups. more

Residence Inn Durham reservations 1/18/2011

I thought the agent was very helpful. I had an idea where I wanted to stay based on recommendations from friends. The agent and I talked briefly about my needs, and he was very helpful in making my choice. I received a confirmation quickly, and I was also able to talk to the hotel to advise about an oxygen delivery prior to our arrival. The process could not have gone smoother. I will use MedStay if I am able to return for a lung transplant. more

MedStay is a great resource for hotel reservations. They have been very helpful when we have looked for hotels in the Raleigh/Durham area for our frequent visits to Duke Medical Center. I would recommend them to anyone. more

I have found Mr. Sammy Henry extraordinary helpful in finding lodgings for my husband who will be at Duke Medical Center for the first time. The services performed by Medstay has greatly alleviated any both mine and my husband's concerns and anxieties about staying in and outpatient setting. I highly recommend Medstay for anyone coming to Duke. more

I would like to give 5 star credit to Sammy Henry. He made our "medical Nightmare" a bit easier. He gave us terrific service finding just the perfect place for us to stay close to our son during a very traumatic time in our lives. He made me feel comfortable at a very stresful time. I know that we will have refuge for Recovery & Recuperation that our son will need. I prayed for people to help us on this life's journey & Sammy is one of those to answer our prayers.Thank You.. more

Medstay is a great FREE reservation service. I recommend Medstay all the time for our out of town patients to help coordinate several doctor appointments and/or imaging appointments here at Duke. Sammy and his staff are always friendly and helpful. more

Sam Henry has a wonderful service for any medical stay at Duke. He is able to get the best rates for short or long term and follows through with his work and works, tirelessly, to get the exact needs at the motels. We continue to use his service each time we return to Duke Medical Center for appointments. It is a great feeling to have someone look after your stay needs when you must concentrate on your medical needs. more
