It is amazing to see the people who created the leis I buy. I usually get there early in the morning to pick up a lei to give to a co-worker on a birthday and they are usually open when I arrive at 7:30am. This is justa small local store that is located in downtown but the people there are so friendly and you can always seem someone there working on a lei. It is just amazing to watch and know that these people have created such gorgeous leis. It is like artwork. more

Nice Flowers, Good Prices 10/5/2005

Maunakea Street Florist is a small mom and pop flower shop on Maunakea Street that still offers a good price for a nice lei and typical flower arrangements. The staff is friendly and they give very good suggestions. I have often ordered roses for Mother's Day and Graduation and they always do a very good job for a fraction of what other florists charge. AND their flowers are so fresh too! Once I stopped by during Mother's Day and I was still able to pick up some flowers for my mom. I couldn't believe they weren't sold out like many others have. more

Unique Leis 9/9/2005

This florist sells the most unique and beautiful leis on the island. Some of the finest florists that make leis are located in Chinatown on Maunakea Street. Their prices are just right and their leis are beautiful and original. You can't find these leis at your neighborhood department store or grocer. more

Beautiful Leis 9/6/2005

I love the leis that they sell on Maunakea Street. This florist sells lovely leis in all different colors and styles. This is a great place to buy leis for graduations and other special occasions. Their prices are a lot cheaper than other stores and their leis are certainly more beautiful than the leis you buy at other stores or markets. more

nice flowers or arrangements for low prices 8/4/2005

Located in town, Maunakea Street Florist is a great and convenient place to pck up flowers and lei for all occasions – graduations, weddings, parties, etc. They are generally open 7 days/week, from 6:30 am to 9 pm, allowing last minute rushers (like myself) to pick up some flowers before a party. They also have a wonderful assortment of lei, for very reasonable prices. For pick-up or delivery, Maunakea Street Florist guarantees their lei quality and freshness, or they will refund your money. Great and reasonably-priced place to pick up great flowers! more
