Never again 5/27/2010

Not recommended. Very dishonest. I parked there for 5 days based on a web promotion price. I hadn't printed out the online coupon, but upon parking, the staff told me that the price would still be honored. When I went to pick up my car, they charged the full amount, insisting that I had to hand in a coupon. They refused to honor the advertised price although I'd been told the opposite by their own staff. A 5-day stay ended up being about $15 lower than just parking straight at the airport -- not worth it for the long shuttle time. I'm disappointed in what amounts to plain dishonesty. more

Never again 1/26/2009

Despite being the most expensive option at Sea-Tac, I've parked at Masterpark Garage since it opened because I like having covered parking. Twice recently I've picked-up my car with things moved around in the car, the driver's seat reclined to a ridiculous angle, and the radio stations completely reprogrammed. I don't trust them one bit, and I won't give them any more of my hard-earned money. more

Cheaper than the airport, but... 9/14/2008

Pro: They valet park your car and it's waiting for you. Cons: I typically park at their garage location. On at least two occasions, I've come home to purple-colored stuff on my roof. Kinda defeats the purpose of parking in a garage. The other thing is that I have been charged the daily rate * 7 rather than the weekly rate. This has only happened when I arrived after 11pm... making me wonder if they're intentionally conning weary people who just got off of a long flight and want to get home. more

Long pickup at airport 6/21/2006

The pros of masterpark: - valet park in a covered area - quick shuttle to the airport - call them when you land and they pull your car up for you at the lot The downs: - crowded pickups during peak times. I had to wait 20 minutes for a van that wasn't full - lines at the counter. After you get dropped off at the lot, you have to wait in line with everyone on your van to pay and pick up your car The suggestions: - walk to the first pickup island, so that the van doesn't fill up on its way to the third island. You'll substantially reduce your risk - apparently they have coupons online that you can get. more

MasterPark is the best! 6/13/2006

We used to park at Doug Fox, but got sick of the find-a-spot-and-wait-for-the-bus-in-the-rain routine. The Masterpark B lot is probably your best bet. You drive into their covered driveway and leave the keys in the car--they take it from there. Hop right on a bus just a few feet from your car dropoff point. It's a busy enough lot that there's always a bus running (we've never had to wait), yet it never seems understaffed or overcrowded. Masterpark B (there are also A and C lots, a few blocks less conveniently located) on International Blvd at 170th. There are always web coupons available at www.masterparking.com, and they give you Alaska miles for parking with them. Can't beat it. more

Efficient and economical long-term parking at Sea-Tac Airport 12/21/2005

Masterpark Lot B is directly across the street from the airport. It is so close, but is still pretty affordable, especially if you can take advantage of discounts. I pay $9.95 a night with my discount from work. There is always a shuttle waiting that will get going to the airport less than five minutes after you drop off your keys. Even if you miss one, they have enough shuttles in service at any given time that the next one is not long in coming. I hate waiting at the airport, so I usually aim to be at the airport about forty-five to fifty minutes before my flight. For international flights, I might try and get there an hour and a half before the flight. Using this strategy, I have very little wiggle room and can't afford to miss my flight because of slow shuttle drivers. This is why I use Masterpark Lot C. Not only are they mere hundreds of feet from the airport entrance, they also have quick and efficient service and they're inexpensive to boot! (I get a corporate discount that lets me park there at $9 a day.) When you come back home from your trip, you can call them on your cell phone after you've deplaned, as you're leaving the airport. Don't call too soon because it rarely takes them long to get there. You don't want to risk having them pass on by without you! Oftentimes, I don't call at all because I know I'll spot one of their shuttles as I'm crossing the skybridge. If you hurry at this point, you can totally make it down the stairs in time to flag the driver. They're great about pulling over and getting you onboard. more
