I heard a lot of stories from my friends about moving companies, coming into this move I was very doubtful about everything, but from the second these guys started working it was like watching art in progress, everybody did their job in amazing coordination. I was so impressed with the guys from Manor Moving who performed my families move a short while ago. They were professional, and worked like a wel oiled machine, the speedily yet carefully packed our things and wrapped our furtinute. I was surprised how at ease I felt during the move, I really felt that my belongings were in good hands, all at a fair price! I was amazed! 12/23/2005

The service at Manor Moving is flawless, they arrived on time, took great care with my belongings, were polite and friendly, and as if all of that isnt enough, I even got free boxes!. I was so nervous about moving but their impecable service calmed me and I felt at ease throughout the entire moving process, from the time I spoke to the friendly and knowledgable sales person, to the time I paid exaclty the estimated price. My wife was right 12/21/2005

Crew members were efficient, handled the furnitures properly, nothing was damaged and we eventually got things on time. I highly recommend them. I was amaized how efficient and proffesional the moving crew was, they treated all my furniture like they were their own and they were quick and very courteous. My move was done a lot quicker than the last time I moved and the price was exactly what they told me it should be. In short I wouldn'y move with anybody else. Furniture Was Damaged 11/12/2005

This company did alot of good marketing and customer service up front to win my confidence but several pieces of wood furniture were gouged during the move. Their response was that I should send them some pictures but because I hadn't purchased extra insurance, there wasn't anything they could do for me. In addition, on the day of the move, they were unable to figure out how to get my sofa down the stairwell even though I had had an upholsterer prep the sofa by taking off the arms. The upholsterer had to come back and was able to move the couch without taking it apart any further. With damaged furniture and a poor response from the company, I give this company the lowest rating. Cons: Damaged Furniture, Lack of Skill more

never knew moving can be fun... 2/20/2005

As every customer I started the day stressed thinking of my super at the building the owner breathing down my neck I was a nervous and not friendly guy , then came the MANOR guys the foreman was very understanding and he calmed me down after half an hour I was confident enough to go get some coffee , by the time I got back everything was ready to go. The guys ware also funny and made the whole experience painless fun and fast , even the super of the building was very impressed with the crew and so he calmed down as well. I used them for my last move and everything was ok the men that came to do my move where new in the job only one guy was actually knowledgeable, very talented Israeli guy, but his team mates didn't came close to his level, overall it's was okay only small damage to one piece of furniture but things happen, the biggest problem was with payment the guy in the office insisted on cash in the first call they said a credit card is fine and than they switched it on me , they told me that the move took longer than expected - not my fault and because of that they can't charge my credit card the amount of the move,, I will say to new customers look elsewhere it's just not worth the hassle. moving was a very stressfull experience for me. I woke up that day I was totaly not prepared to move , my place was a mess and those MANOR movers guys came in , professionally and efficiantly took care of all te mess i left very quickly the my appartment cleared out they finished the move so fast that I still had time to go to work. I hate moving, but they actually made it an enjoyable experience! The were punctual, friendly, helpful and helped me stay calm during my move. I had some very difficult pieces to move, some with great sentimental attachment, and they treated it with the greatest of care! How to choose a moving company 6/8/2004

So how do YOU choose? I chose Manor Moving becuase of 2 things: 1. They were on the top of the list. 2. After talking with them on the phone, I felt they really know their business. The salesman answered some questions i didnt think of asking. In short, my instincts told me it was ok. And so, 8am SHARP! (ON THE SECOND) the supervisor knocked on my door, and from there to having all my belongings on the new apartment, the way was not that long, and most important, stress-free. So think before you choose, and trust yourself. if something looks weird, it probably is. check yourself and don't be scared of calling the DOT or the BBB. Pros: Kind, Fast, Proffesional more

After moving 4 times in the last 2 years, I am very pleased to compliment the work of Manor Moving. From the first phone call, to the very end of my move, I encountered proffesional guys who know what they talk about and know what I needed. To make a long story short - choose Manor if you want to be able to show the guys in in the morning, then go have a breakfast and come back to see your belongings being already loaded on the truck. My fiance and I recently moved to LI from NYC. Manor Moving worked very hard and had us completely moved in to our house within 5 hours of showing up to our door at the apartment. The men were extremely careful with our property--everything arrived as it had been before the move. We are extremely pleased. The only thing I would suggest is to have everything packed before the day of the move. If you have them supply you any boxes, it will be a bit pricey. Pros: friendly, careful, fast more
