Mama's Original Pizza & Pasta

Caesar tomato salad contained unwanted protein with wings, the pasta with onions and tomatoes with the mystery sauce was just that, while the meatball and fresh mushroom had no taste. Truly know what a cardboard pizza tastes like. No reorder here. more

We ordered lasagna, meat ball sub, a side of garlic bread and a side of sausages. The garlic bread was stale, the lasagna and sausages were extremely burned and the meatball sub was put on top of the macaroni salad it came with. This caused the sub to be extremely soggy and disgusting. We ended up throwing the entire order out and getting McDonalds. more

Their "Margherita" pizza has no tomatoes, unlike most Margherita pizzas. It was also pretty awful tasting. more

Some of the best Italian food and pizza I've had. ""The Monster"" pizza is my absolute fav. A litte more pricey than your average chain but, well worth it. I always leave full and reccommend this place to all my friends. more

Every time i go to Mama's, i enjoy the pizza so much. They have very creative pizza specials that are always yummy. I go home stuffed every time. The location is small and the service is friendly. the price isn't bad either. I always like coming here for special occasions. more

I've tried ordering from Mama's on several occasions and the moment I mention I want to pay by credit card instead of cash, I have gotten the runaround and then told they aren't taking credit cards tonight. more

Mama's menu would lead you to believe that it's going to be a great neighborhood find, but alas... the food isn't very special. The pizza was a big letdown, they claim (just like everyone) to have the best pizza in town, but it tastes like the same old foodservice cheese and sauce that every pizza joint uses. The crust is doughy and it all just tasted ""average."" They have some creative appetizers, the best among them being the beer battered mushrooms. With the pasta dinners, the portions are big enough to take home and have another whole meal. I usually get spaghetti and a side of their italian sausage links. It's a fair and inexpensive meal. Their salads are pretty good. The entrees could use some work. Basically, it's the same chicken breast with a variety of different sauces. The best part about being close to Mama's is that their lunch specials are very affordable and fairly quick. The sandwiches are adequate. Overall, just not as special as their well-written menu would lead you to believe. A step above bar food. Pros: fair prices lots of choices Cons: parking stinks, food is very average more

My boyfriend and I went here for dinner and ordered three things: 2 sandwiches and an order of fried zucchini. Our waiter got two out of the three items wrong. I got a eggplant parmesan sandwich instead of the chicken parmesean that I ordered, and we never even got the fried zucchini. He totally forgot about it. The food was average. This may have just been an ""off night"" but we probably won't go back. more
