I was hoping that this branch of the Tavern chain would be better than the one in Lowry. Boy was I disappointed. The ambiance at the Downtown Littleton location was quite nice. The first floor seating with the front windows slid open to Main Street and the roof top seating were both pretty cool. The servers and personnel were quite friendly and responsive. That's where it ends. Restaurants are about the food. Unfortunately, the food was, how do I put this,"" AWFUL"". I had the prime rib sandwich. It was cut way to thick (Prime Rib sandwiches must always be shaved), the gristle was not trimmed off and it was as dry as the Nevada Desert. After taking the meat out and trimming the gristle myself, it was still a challenge just to finish this awful offering. I was there with some associates for a business meeting. Needless to say we will not be meeting there again.
